Myo-inositol for non-PCOS

3 early miscarriages, already on Proceive Max, Ubiquinol, omega 3 and vit D. Read briefly that could add myo-inositol to help with egg quality, but I thought this was more to regulate cycles for PCOS.

Has anyone taken myo-inositol for egg quality? If so, what dose did you take? Any brands that you recommend (ideally without folic acid as fertility vitamins already include them).
Thanks in advance.

Are you taking coq10? That’s what I have heard about the most as being good for egg quality. Have you had your progesterone checked?

I take ubiquinol (coq10) 200g a day for about 6 months now. Still no effect on egg quality.

I've tested progesterone and it was normal so don't think it's that.

Ah sorry didn’t realise they were the same name, I'm taking 300mg no idea whether it’s affected egg quality or not honestly. Will be interested to see what others think of myo inositol.

So I think coq10 is used interchangeable with ubiquinone, and ubiquinol is the same as ubiquinone but more quickly absorbed (or you need less of it).

Honestly at this point I'm willing to try anything, but would like to hear others opinions.

Its hard to say , I'm not a professional but have read some non pcos women taking myo and it did affect their cycles negatively and caused irregularities.
Regarding q10 , my fertility consultants in both clinics told me just take a good prenatal folic and vit d. Don't waste money on anything else as theres absolutely no evidence q10 improves egg quality. The only studies out there are paid for by the companies manufacturering or selling them.
I took every single supplement during my last ivf round was spending over £200 a month and still produced sh!t quality eggs. This time around I'm just sticking to the fertility specialists advice and taking my proceive and extra vitamin d cause we don't get enough in this country he said and 10ug or 15ug isn't high enough. I should add, while there's no concrete studies on fertility, q10 has been studies in other fields and all the studies done onit were in the form of ubiquinone ,not ubiquinol. There's not enough studies on ubiquinol either but in theory it's more absorbable since your body has to convert ubiquinone into ubiquinol but also you need the right supplements or your wasting your money. Alot of q10 brands were tested and they were ineffective cause of how they are made , like the capsule. Get one that's dissolved in oil and take it with a fat since q10 is fat dissolvable not water

@VioIetMoon so sorry to hear about your eggs, I completely understand, we want to control what we can so we just go buy anything and everything that could maybe help. I'm currently going through that phase, but judging by my recurrent miscarriages my eggs' quality seems still very low. It's quite frustrating.
I just don't want any regrets. I read the "it starts with the egg" book and taking ideas from there.
