Yes I’d read this as peak so definitely good to DTD! It’s likely the following day after this is ovulation day as the surge happens before ovulation

@CoralleaP ah sorry to hear that it’s literally the worst 😕 How late are you? I know factors like stress etc can sometimes affect things but it’s hard!

Hi there! I would love to join. I’m 35 and a TTC for baby number 1. I am also new to mums net but have been following these for a while and find them really helpful. This is our 7th cycle and I’ve experienced a few gyno procedures such as ovarian cysts an bartholin cysts. I’ve also got fibroids right now which the doctor says won’t affect fertility. I have been feeling super anxious about it all and the doctor has now referred me to get some blood tests, but I’m hoping everything will be ok. Currently 7 DPO. Anyone else 35 and trying for baby number 1? Any tips? I’m taking COQ10, folic acid, vitamin D and we have just started using conceive plus lube as I cannot get lubricated naturally very well due to the multiple bartholin cysts… we had been using regular lube before until we learnt they can block sperm!!!! Hoping for a positive outcome this month. We feel happy and positive but I just want to know why it’s taking so long….

I'm TTC baby #2, 1st cycle and already feeling stressed. Been tracking OPK and even though on CD19 I've still not had a peak! @Flowersflowers121 think you said you were still waiting for peak too? I only came off the pill end of April there as I had to stay on it due to other medications I was taking - so obviously now I'm overthinking and getting frustrated at myself for wishing I could have stopped the pill sooner so my cycles would have started to regulate. The never ending mental strain when TTC...

@NavigatingLife welcome!! Yeah, still no peak for me!! It went up to like .44 today, so I'll check again tomorrow morning and see if there's anything going on haha such a weird cycle for me!

@peps2917 welcome too! :) I'm also 35 (but trying for number 2). Sounds like you're doing all the right things. I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you! I found myself following a few people on YouTube when we were trying for our first. One of my fave couples are Fab & Ell. They have a whole series about their fertility journey and all the things they were doing to help them conceive. They were 1 month out from starting IVF and conceived twins naturally- was so nice to see for them <3 always a comforting watch seeing how real and vulnerable some people can be on YouTube about this sort of stuff!

@PurpleOrchids12345 & @daisy2025 usually ovulate around CD15 according to my tracker apps, so a few days out! We can only wait and see if suppose but definitely not feeling confident this cycle. Resigned myself to it for now and probably won't even test this month hahaha sad times

How is everyone else getting on? So happy for our few BFPs already! What DPO is everyone?

Hi @Flowersflowers121 maybe you might find the clear blue 4 days opk helpful? It tracks oestrogen and LH, so when your oestrogen rise is detected you could test the lh opks more often? Sorry to hear you’ve not had a peak- I’ve had a few cycles where I’ve not found a peak too and it’s very frustrating!

im 11dpo and still bfn- just waiting for AF to arrive now and try for the next round!

@Flowersflowers121 at least your numbers are going the right way, mine seem to be going down so don't know if I missed peak or if I maybe didn't ovulate this month

@PurpleOrchids12345 I'm not sure how long my cycles are - I was always quite irregular and then when I got pregnant in 2023 I was so lucky to get pregnant after a few months coming off the pill so again, hadn't really seen it average out.

Premom app changed its mind last night that instead of predicted ovulation being today, it was actually on Friday - but OPK tests were no where near the levels for peak, highest I got was 0.57. Natural cycles app still saying tomorrow for O... so I'm either 1 day away from O, 4DPO or absolutely nowhere at all 🙈

@NavigatingLife oh dear! Are you tracking your bbt or cervical mucous? This is the first full cycle that I’ve tracked BBT and it’s really insightful and I now am pretty confident when I’ve ovulated. It’s great you’ve been pregnant before in 2023- means that alls in working order!

@PurpleOrchids12345just trying to track BBT as well as many OPK tests. Think I might just need to put this down as my body getting used to not being on the pill again and track CM next cycle too. That's so good by tracking you think you know when you ovulated!

I’m 5dpo! I really like doing bbt too, I like the definite confirmation of when ovulation was 🤣

@Flowersflowers121 thanks for that I will watch!! I’m now 8DPO and I took a test because I couldn’t wait and it’s of course negative 😂😂 I couldn’t help myself! I’ve been moody today and yesterday which is a sign of PMS but I’ve also had lower back pain - not sure if it’s from exercise or PMS or something else!! I won’t test again until period is due (or I will try anyway…)

I really hope this is the month as the 2WW is just the worst!!

Do you all cut drink completely during the 2WW or drink less? We are not huge drinkers and never drink in the week, but we like to have some wine at the weekends. Curious to hear about everyone else? I also wonder whether everyone else’s partners are still carrying on with their lives or cutting down drinking etc too.

Sorry everyone, I've been feeling rubbish and not been checking this! My premom app this morning seems to think i perhaps ovulated on the 13th due to my BBT numbers, so we shall see! If so, that makes me 2DPO although I'm really not holding much hope for this cycle!!

How's everyone else feeling? Is anyone close to testing time? I feel out of the loop hahaha

@Flowersflowers121 I am now 10DPO and due on this weekend - I tested 8DPO and it was obvs negative - going to test on Saturday as that will be 12DPO and my due date for AF!

@Flowersflowers121my premom app has done the same thing and put me as ovulating on 9th at CD16 due to BBT and my OPK being 0.41... I didn't trust it tho and I've kept testing - this morning on CD22 my OPK on Premom has logged at 2.11 so clearly my LH peak is today but Premom still being stubborn with CD16! So it's all a bit strange. If you don't trust it maybe you might want to keep testing? It's a fine art trying to plan and track this all!

im out for this cycle ladies! AF has made her appearance and I’m back to CD1. May 17th was the due date of my little soul who started his/her journey but never made it very far. I’ve always hoped that by this date I would be pregnant again but such is life :( sending baby dust to us all xxx

Can I ask how ye are getting the number on the readings for ovulation tests? Is that just with a certain brand or with all of them? Sorry if that’s a stupid question! All new to me.

@A2025 we’re using an app called Premom - you upload your OPK and it gives you a number (but tbh the number doesn’t matter as much as finding your peak)
