Should I see a doctor? Cycle change while TCC

Hi everyone,

I could really use some advice. My partner and I are TTC (trying to conceive), and I’m 34. Up until two cycles ago, my periods were fairly regular, ranging between 28 and 30 days. However, last cycle was 39 days, and this one is currently at 35 days and still counting.

I’m wondering if this is something I should speak to a doctor about? Has anyone else experienced similar changes while TTC? I’m a little concerned, as I’ve read about how regular cycles can play a role in conceiving, but I’m not sure if this is just normal fluctuation or something I should look into.

Any insights would be really appreciated—thank you in advance!

Have you recently started taking pre conception vitamins or anything similar? This can affect the cycle. I’ve read lots of women having cycle changes after starting those.

I have taken them before but not in the last 6 weeks or so.

the Best thing to do imho is to to temping

buy a bbt and look up how to do it and use an app. It tell you when you ovulate and how long between.

it depends how long you have been ttc and contraceptive you might have previously been on also.

trying for a year? Go to GP

anything over 35 days abnormal but two abnormal cycles doesn’t mean you have regular periods. It could just be a random thing.
