Hi all, sorry in advance for the long post. I'm just wondering if anyone can offer any advice/ experiences. I came off the combined pill last December to ttc baby number 2. Had 5 cycles between Jan and May although these weren't regular but not all over the place - between 28 and 35 days. I fell pregnant the May cycle but that ended in a chemical.

July and August were regular cycles but since September my cycles have been all over the place. 29, 39, 35 and 83 days! I have gained weight over the last year or two and also had an increase in acne and facial hair. Had bloods taken to test for PCOS which came back as 'normal' but 2 of the results were very borderline (androgens and serum sex binding hormone). Had an ultrasound of my ovaries which apparently look perfectly healthy, no cysts and all measurements looked good.

Im just very confused now and don't really know what to do moving forward. Im praying my cycle this month isn't crazy long again. I'm currently trying to lose weight and increase my protein (have lost 9lb in the last few weeks but have another 2-2.5 stones to lose) and I take Zita West Vitafem and Myo inositol. I started taking the inositol in Sep which is when my cycles went really haywire - could that be doing the opposite of what I expected and delaying my cycle?! Sorry for the really long post. Any advice appreciated

Just to add that before this my cycles were regular when ttc my daughter in 2021. Went back on the pill and then noticed the irregularity when I came off it last year.

No personal experience but I have seen people on pcos forums say that it messed up their cycle. Difficult to say though as it could be something else. I suppose only way to tell is to go off it for a few months and see? Although I think the criteria for PCOS can be high androgens/evidence of high androgens and irregular periods (so lack of ovulation) so you might actually fit that?

I take zinc and magnesium, there are some studies about it helping with high androgens/pcos. Also started taking coq10 which is also supposed to help but only in month 1 of that.
