It's something, but is it an evap?

Hi, I've no idea idea how to tell if this is an evap or invalid or all the other terms people use. I don't think I'm imagining there being something!? But not sure what it is.

Please tell me if you think I'm making it up and you can't see anything, too. I know the answer is to test again in a few days...but...my brain is now fried. I knew I shouldn't have tested early!

I can't take any more pictures because I panicked (even though we're trying!) and binned it haha. Came up within 5 mins.

I can see a line too! Congratulations! Good idea comparing to someone else’s pee, I’ll do a water test if I’m worried as a control

I use easy@home - just as they’re fairly cheap! No children or pregnancies, it’s been almost a year of not using contraception but not all of that has been serious trying. I took a test this afternoon and it looked like a faint positive but then disappeared! So i think I definitely need to wait longer 🙈

Took another easy@home last night and it looked about the same as the morning (my husband was all "it doesn't look darker, is that bad" and I had to explain hcg and them taking 48 hours on average to double haha. Every day is a school day around here)

Then again this morning with FMU (yes, I am overdoing it, yes, I tend to be anxious!). I've attached this morning's.

Thankfully we are out all day today which will be a good distraction for the first half of the weekend, because if I get to Monday with no AF then it's definitely late and I'll be a bit more confident!

I've been absolutely shattered the last few nights, which is a bit reassuring.

Pretty sure mine are evaps, theyre so faint and exactly the same as yesterday. Although this only shows with my second morning wee test. Sucks so bad thought I could trust easy @ home!

This is what I’ve been getting @Brushbun . I notice when you move it around in the light, the line reflects. I think it’s just where it would pick up the dye, as hasn’t really got colour. It is so unhelpful!

@Muddysocks1 does your second line disappear after about 10 minutes? So frustrating. And it doesn’t do it to all my test, the ones that I take later in the day are blank. It’s my FMU or second that it does this too. Which makes me think chemical maybe? Either way - frustrating. I would have thought by 9/10 Dpo there would be a little something if I was to get a BFP xx

Yes I’ve wondered if it’s early chemicals when it’s happened before. Because sometimes I can’t see anything at all on them? And like these I’ve put into Premom (I know it’s not designed for that, but usually it says 0.0 for a stark white) and it’s picking up something as says 0.01. I think these have stayed after ten mins.

@Muddysocks1 that's so interesting it reads it on the app. If all my tests had the second faint line I’d be like 100% evaps. But it’s not everytime I do a test. Some are completely white. It’s just the first two wee’s of the day that does it. Which yeh - leads me to chem. I so hope we can get out BFP one day because it’s so cruel to have any glimmer of false hope. I also would love to be the person that waits for a missed period to test but I just don’t have the will power! So it’s pretty much my fault I get hopes up and see faint lines 😂

@Muddysocks1 also note you said it’s happened before - is that in other cycles that lead to a BFN? X

Yes that’s my thinking! As it’s not all the time. I could never be a not-tester 🙈

Yup has happened before, more than one cycle but not all!
one cycle I had a darker line 11dpo, then a vfl later that day then bfn again, but never had more of a positive 😔

@Muddysocks1 that's so frustrating, because the second photo you posted looks really similar to the original one I posted here (or at least, what mine looked like in person!). I think I must have been lucky. It really is "safer" to test later but it's so difficult and clearly, I failed at that too.

@Brushbun you asked for the digital update... It has been confirmed. Seeing the word in black and white helped!

Update on me: New batch of Easy@Homes and no second lines at all. Dud batch of test or chem for me I think!

I peaked on 25th Feb so am I right in saying I’m 11/12Dpo today? I won’t be testing until a missed period and that’s due Thursday. Although I think she’s on her way as crampy today.

I really wish I could understand a bit more about DPO’s Perhaps I’ll temp check this next cycle. X

If you peaked on the 25th you likely ovulated 26th making today 11dpo. But frankly it's all a bit "ish"! Temping is helpful.
