Does anyone temp with a wearable tracker/watch?

Just wondering how temperature fluctuates in the early hours. Would anyone share data on how their temp changes between eg 5am and 8am, assuming you slept really well up to 8am and no other factors like alcohol/illness etc?
I'm experienced at temping but I'm using a mouth thermometer so it's difficult to track this accurately. My wake time varies a bit because of the kids. I would like to know how much it really matters if I wake at eg 6am or 7.30am, so long as I had a long sleep before waking. Fertility apps make out it's a big deal that you temp within the same half hour every day, but is it really?

So if you use a wearable and you have a good example of a night where you slept through until 8am or later, could you tell me your temps at say 5.30, 6.00, 6.30, 7.00, 7.30, 8.00?

TIA!

Hey, I use my Apple Watch but it doesn’t take temp at all hours of the night. The way it works is that you set a ‘sleep schedule’ and it auto takes your temp at the wake time everyday. I am not sure how much it differs hour to hour, but if I haven’t had the solid 4 hours my temp always seems to be higher than I’d expect (above baseline pre ovulation) so I exclude it.

I think maybe someone who uses the specific fertility trackers can probably offer some advice in relation to them, I’m not sure how they work. Sorry to not be much help!

No I really appreciate you replying, thank you! I didn't realise it worked like that, but I guess as you say an actual fertility tracker might do it differently.

Your temperature does genuinely fluctuate between 30 minutes! Honestly, no matter which way you are measuring, if your sleep schedule is erratic, so are your temps, and you end up with a rocky mountain graph.
Wearable temp monitors are considered the least reliable. Bbt are slightly better when used orally. Apparently, monitoring bbt vaginally is the most accurate.
Opks are more reliable though. x

Thanks @Raynexxbow . I don't bother with OPKs because they don't confirm ovulation, just that your body tried to ovulate. I prefer bbt.
The reason I wrote this post is that my temps don't really change depending when I wake up. Eg in the mid follicular phase, so long as I've had four hours of sleep, my temp will be between 36.40 and 36.50 no matter if I wake at 5am or 7.30am. My temps are really steady. But everything online says this shouldn't happen, and I'd like to understand why just because it's interesting! I was just interested in other people's real life experience and hoped someone had a fertility tracker that recorded regular temps.
