Hi everyone i'm new to this site. I have a 2 and a half year old boy and I thought it was about time he had a brother or sister so weve started trying for a baby. I took a test 2 days before my period was due (a bit too impatient)and no result appeared in the window at all but the second window showed a completed sign. I took another test 5 days later and it showed a faded horizontal line and an extremely (I stress the word extremely, my partner couldn't see it) light vertical line. Two tests later with the same clear blue sticks and its the same result each time, this isn't described on the instructions. Anyone got a clue?

Elliott, I was 'wondering' and I now admit to being me again Thanks for all the advice given here. For anyone who's interested, it does seem the Boots test is sensitive since it gave me a positive result this am when the one bought in bulk from the internet (those little sticks with hcg printed on them) didn't. So I now wonder if the cheap ones were a false economy. Or maybe they would have given me a positive in a couple of days, who knows? But yes, it appears that I am pregnant so I'm off to join the November babies thread! Thanks again.
