I’ll probably test at 12dpo, so next Wednesday… I’ll see how I feel as I’m going to start Cyclogest at 7dpo this cycle so I might end up caving and testing! I’ve given up symptom spotting - had too many cycles of either nothing or a chemical so my symptoms don’t really mean much!

I think symptom spotting can definitely be detrimental! Saying that I’ve got so much discomfort going on, feel quite swollen and some stabbing pains and I don’t really know why! I’ve not had it before but it doesn’t feel quite right. I do suffer with inflammatory bowel disease so it could possibly be related to that. I’m going to try and hold off testing till as late as possible but I know I’m going to find that hard lol!

Not great!! Was sick this morning (11dpo and negative test) so have spoken to my gp about a blood test to see what’s going on who said to speak to the fertility clinic I’m under who said to speak to my gp because I haven’t started treatment yet 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hello 👋🏻 I'm not entirely sure exactly now many days past ovulation I am, but I'm cycle day 23 and I usually ovulate days 17-19 so probs 4-6dpo. This is our first month TTC number 2 so haven't started tracking ovulation yet - with baby 1, I fell pregnant month two so never needed the ovulation strips but I'm more impatient this time so if this cycle doesn't work, will buy some for March! I don't remember really being aware of waiting the first time, I was quite relaxed and just assumed it would take a while whereas this time I'm the opposite!

@Keirii94 oh bless you I’m sorry to hear you’ve been sick, and that sounds really annoying each keep telling you to speak to the other!! I hope you get to speak to someone tomorrow about how you’re feeling and get blood test. Hope you’re doing ok ✨
im feeling ok, just feels like such a long wait always! So just trying to focus on other things (working helps) to take my mind off it! I’ve got a bit of stomach ache this evening but almost certain it’s not connected to anything, probably ate too much today 😂

Hi @jill5676 👋🏻 I’m hoping that it works this cycle for you and won’t need to buy ovulation tests! I drive myself mad with those always do so many tests as worry I’ll miss the positive 😂 but pretty sure it just adds to my stress levels. When are you planning on doing a preg test? I’m trying to hold off for as long as possible this time as keep driving myself round the bend and lose the plot testing so much but not sure how much willpower I’ve got

@Josephine2 my cycles are usually 30-33 days (always been a bit variable) so I'm planning to hold off until next week but who knows if I'll manage it!

@Josephine2 hopefully something will work out eventually 😭 thank you, feeling much better this evening 💕 totally get what you mean there!! Working always helps as a distraction! Haha, hope the stomach ache eases up a bit :)

@Keirii94 so pleased to hear you’re feeling a bit better!! 💖 My tummy ache is much better today! I think it was likely food related, I don’t have any of the discomfort I was having either.

@jill5676 the wait is tough isn’t it! I’m like the most impatient person too but going to try and wait too otherwise I know I’ll drive myself mad 😅

The wait is soooo long 😅 I think I’m 4dpo today. I’ve forgotten, do you usually ovulate the day of peak opk or the day after? I got my peak early evening and the next morning it was negative.

I’m doing ok today thank you! 5dpo now.
@Josephine2 most people ovulate the day after peak OPK! Think it’s usually 24-36 hours after

I got pregnant quite quickly with my daughter back in 2022 and this time around it’s taking a long time and it’s really taking its toll! I think if I don’t get positive news this cycle I will go and see my gp. I had an emergency c section with my daughter and had complications so I’m wondering if that could be causing problems. Hard to know and hard not to overthink!

How long have you been TTC @Josephine2 ? Our first was also so quick, then this time we’ve been trying for a year and are starting to consider IVF!

Hi, currently 4dpo - can I join in? I told myself this cycle I would be more relaxed and just take each day as it comes.... 4 days in and I'm driving myself crazy. I have the flu so have convinced myself that's me out. Have barely eaten or drank anything in days and have had a temp - not ideal implantation scenario is it :-( so typical!

Nope you are all doing ok. It's all consuming isn't it.

I have PCOS, and using ovulation induction (letrozole). This is my last month of my prescription :-( going to ask for a few more months worth I think though. I just don't feel mentally ready for going down the ivf route yet.

I have just been invited on a night out next weekend. I'll be 10 dpo!!! What do you guys think?

Ah it's so tough. Are you an early tester or do you normally wait until missed period?

I tested positive at 10dpo with my daughter. But know some who tested negative and then positive at like 12 dpo so it's difficult to know what to do.

Me personally I would either drive. Or test and if negative have just the one maybe.

I have a night out planned and it falls on 13dpo, and if it's negative I'll have a couple as unlikely to turn positive the day after. Although I don't drink much anymore anyway since TTC, so would prob just be a couple.

Ya seems fair. Oh god ya of course I won't be able to hold off testing for that long!
Have discharge today that's not dry. Hoping that's a positive sign

@babybrain23 6dpo so no testing here yet. I’ve had so much more CM than normal this cycle but I’ve been actively trying to drink more water so that’s probably why! I can’t really help on the night out because I’ve not had a drink in over 10 years! I’m tempted to say you can’t not go on nights out for two whole weeks every month… maybe go but take it easy?
