Is this a positive ovulation test?!

Myself and my partner are in our first cycle of TTC.
I’ve always been a bit rubbish with knowing my cycle and was on the mini pill for around a year prior.
I’ve been using Flo to track my cycle and it has predicted that I will ovulate tomorrow. I just want people feedback on whether I’m not this is a positive ovulation test please?! I’ve found differing opinions online and it’s all a bit confusing.

From my experience with those test, yes that’s a positive ovulation test. I would highly recommend natural cycles and the digital clear blue ovulation tests if this is something you are wanting to track 😊

I actually don't think that is quite positive as it's the wrong way up - generally speaking, the test is positive once the test line is darker than the control line.

@Flobell what day of your cycle are you on? And is this the first test you've done? The key is to test over consecutive days during your predicted fertile window and find your peak by seeing the test get darker and coming back down

@Rubymachine Thank you for replying!! Okay perfect, I’ll order the clear blue tests as these are a little confusing.
I’ve just received my natural cycle basal thermometer but haven’t input enough data on there for more precise predictions, once I have enough I’m planning to switch from Flo to natural cycles.

@MummyV2021 yes that makes sense also. Complete newbie to this. It’s cycle day 15 with Flo predicting I will ovulate tomorrow. This isn’t the first ovulation test I’ve done this cycle, I’ve done them as I’ve been prompted to by Flo the last 5 or so days and they have definitely become darker but I haven’t kept any to compare so I will next cycle! Thank you

I used to use flo but get on so much better with natural cycles! The clear blue tests are 100% worth the money - just make sure you read the instructions properly before doing them 😊good luck using them!

Absolutely not a advertising ploy 😂but if you decide to go ahead with natural cycles - feel free to use my referral code it gives you 20% off and the free thermometer worth £30 I believe 😊

I use the Premom app to track mine. Here's a pic that shows the progression. I've historically ovulated CD14-17 but last 2 cycles when I've been tracking with OPKs I've peaked CD13 and ovulated CD14 both times.

@Rubymachine yes, natural cycles is more appealing with their own thermometer. Thank you very much for that.
