Premom cycle length question

Hello,
Having removed an IUD in May (so no periods for six years), I've used premom for about five months now. My cycle took a few months to stabilise but this is the third month in a row where it has been 27 days. Obviously it adjusts for the cycle just finished (today is CD1), but looking forward it still sets it to a 28 day cycle.

So for example it assumes my current cycle will last 28 days. Will this not affect the accuracy of when it predicts ovulation? I know the tests are the main thing, but is this not also important?

Thanks.

Of course it will. It is just predicted off the "average" 28 day cycle. The only way you will know for sure is if you test for ovulation yourself. Track for a couple of months so you can work out what your body usually does. You cant ever go off the app unfortunately. I tracked for 3 years (to avoid getting pregnant) and I always hit my peak between cycle day 11/12 and ovulate between cycle day 12/13.
