Confused with test, cramps and two lines

Has this happened to anyone else with a test? I used a Clearblue Early Detection test and I've been getting very mild cramps off and on and they intensify with activities. I'm over a week away from my next period. The two pictures are of the same test and used the dipping method. After the dye ran through and cleared, the control line appeared and then I opened the test to see how it looked and noticed the second line out of place. But I don't know if that second line is supposed to be there or not. What do you think? I'm thinking about buying the same test and looking at it before using it as a comparison. Any answers are appreciated, thank you!

I would get a pink dye test. I didn't find CB helpful at all especially early x

I forgot a small detail on the test pictured above, it used pink dye and the lines are a purplish pink color.

Hmmmmm

I think there will always be a line on the inside of a test. It's where the dye would originate from if you had hcg in your system. The tests aren't made to be taken apart like that and definitely won't be usefully interpreted that way. I'd second a pink dye hcg strip (like Wondfo or easy @ home). You can get a box of 20 strips on Amazon for not very much, which is useful if you're TTC and will be testing fairly often. The clear blue ones are very bad for evaps which can be upsetting. Whatever happens, good luck xx

I don't know but I wouldn't be wasting money experimenting buying multiple tests and taking them apart.
I'd just wait the week to see if I miss a period and test then

Pregnancy tests aren't meant to be used over a week before your period. Even the ones that claim to be early result ones say maximum 6 days before your period. (And that early a lot will be unreliable).

Opening tests is also a bad idea because as others have stated you can often see the indent line where the potential positive would be.

I'd wait at least a week and test again.

Did you end up being pregnant?
