Am 39 next month and have an 11month old DS. Have now realised I like babies/children and would like to have more if possible- is it worth using these to check myself out?

I know 39 isn't ancient but not 29 and CD3 (when I believe you should use them) is on Sunday.

Sorry- reread post-should have said "really like babies/children" hope it doesnt read that I disliked them before having DS

If you're worried then you could use the home test.
But you're probably as well to go to your GP and get the tests done for nothing.
The Fertell one measures AMH which you can't have done on the NHS - however there seems to be conflict as to how good or reliable a test this is.
Your GP can test your FSH, LH, E2 and progesterone levels which will give you a very good idea of your fertile health.

Just thought I'd add, I got some of the home FSH tests recently just for piece of mind, turns out the sensitivity of urine ones is 25 (can't remember the units, sorry) but basically if you're over the 25 level you are pretty much menopausal which you'd probably already know from other symptoms. Just being under the 25 level isn't any kind of reliable benchmark so I wouldn't waste your money.

Thanks for the responses.

I think on balance you are right Oufton it would probably be a waste of money if their sensitivity is menopausal/not!!

And nancy66 if there is conflict on whether the Fertell one is a good or reliable test that seals the deal. Will buy a nice bottle of wine instead....actually would get a few for that price!

Thanks again
