Mounjaro and PCOS TTC

I’ve had 2MC, a chemical and 2 weeks ago a MMC.

I have PCOS, started mounjaro sept and only actually got one dose in as I fell pregnant naturally (after a year of trying and nothing happening!) whilst on it, so stopped.

Now after MMC, I’m wondering if the mounjaro could have caused it, or if it actually helped. I’m debating going back on it, but I’m worried about the amount of people saying not safe of TTC. we are desperate to try again and I’m 39 so time really isn’t on my side. I have around 6 stone to loose to be ‘healthy BMI’ but with PCOS and thyroid problems I’m struggling so much to loose anything. In the week I took mounjaro I actually lost 4kg!!

I’ve seen lots online who say they took mounjaro and as soon as they got a positive stopped taking it and had healthy pregnancies, but I can’t get that little voice out of my brain saying it’s not recommended TTC.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I am going to follow this as in a very similar position.
39 chemical in May, pregnant again in June MMC, surgical management end of august. I’m in my 2nd cycle since, positive LH test no temp rise so no ovulation yet CD 26.
BMI 32.
I was thinking about this too. 😭

Sorry to hear you’re in a similar position @Joleyjojo

My period hasn’t returned yet, I had surgical management nearly 3 weeks ago.

I have been reading so many articles about this and my head is spinning, it’s so difficult when you’re unsure what is best, and the GP says a flat out no to GLP1 in my area without T1 diabetes so won’t even consult on me purchasing online.

Doctors recommend stopping Mounjaro at least 2 months before becoming pregnant. This is because it can take about 6 weeks for the drug to leave your system after your last dose, or longer if you have kidney problems. The drug is untested on human pregnancy, so cannot say whether or not it can negativitely affect pregnancy or directly cause miscarriage or birth defect. The advice is don't risk it.

I can't imagine how awful it'd be if you did have complications as a result so I wouldn't risk it
