Been ttc for 3.5 years
In that time only one pregnancy (ectopic) but tube was saved and a HyCoSy after showed that it was not blocked just the liquid was slow to pass through.
Been using letrozole and no luck yet. This month I have 3 follicles on the side that had the ectopic and 1 on the other side.

Has anyone successfully ovulated the side of a tube that may not be in the best shape and got successfully pregnant ?

I haven’t had this happen yet, but I just wanted to comment and say I also had an ectopic in my last cycle, was able to save the tube (left one), which I was grateful for because it’s the side I ovulate most from. I didn’t have a period after for 3 months until recently! I am about to start letrozole but my body just ovulated on its own, and I saw in the scan it was on the right side. I was very surprised as I thought I never ovulate from there.

im sorry you haven’t been successful yet, but there’s definitely hope. Also the tubes move around apparently and sweep the ovaries for any eggs. If your hycosy came back clear then that is positive

how many cycles have you done with letrozole? Do you get monitored with scans? Do you get progesterone in your tww? If you haven’t already, get your thyroid checked, as if it’s out of the average you may need another med to help with pregnancy. Good luck ❤️

Sorry to hear of your worries. What I would say is fully keep an open mind. I think it's so easy to form views as to how our bodies are working, or not working, when in reality it can be very different to what we fear. I've been there with different things (mine was worrying about small boobs and not enough milk for my baby!!). I know plenty of women that have conceived against all the odds (including one tube only, massive fibroids and a divided womb). If you've not tried it then I would urge you to add in some fertility acupuncture (which is what I do). It does seem to help with blood flow to the pelvis, egg quality, numbers and womb lining thickness, not to mention help you feel you're doing something positive and get back some sort or control in your life. I've also bought out a low cost fertility acupuncture app for anyone who cannot access 1:1 sessions (https://bepositiveappyoupuncture.com/)
I hope your fertility journey goes well xx
