I tested on Tues and got a faint positive, next day it was -ive. I have tested again on Fri and Sun and again this eve and they are all faint +ives but dont really seem to be getting stronger. Do you think this is odd or a problem???

What type of tests are you using?

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 21:40

Access diagnostic dip tests 25mlU

Oh i don't know, does seem odd.

Have you tried a clear blue or a well known brand?

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 21:41

Used them last time too and they gradually got stronger but I cant remember how long it took.

I used these when i thought i was pg with my now ds, and they are not good really, i got a bright positive on a tesco own, and i used the rest of these cheaper tests and they were still faint when i knew i definately was pg, this was 4 days after my af was due.

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 21:42

I have a boots digital one but that's 50 mlU so was keeping it until the lines got a bit stronger

OP posts:
cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 21:44

Hmm, may not trust them completely then. Af not due until tomorrow so will try the boots one with earning morning sample.

I have had the exact same problem

See my profile for a picture, i was due on yesterday and not come on, have done a first response and got a almost invisable line, but these access tests keep coming up with a stronger faint. I have also tried the 10 miu ones from Ebay (very similar) and keep getting the same.

misdee · 21/04/2008 21:48

those tests are really faint +ves anyway.

i took two boots tests and very strong + on them.

later that week i decided to try out the cheapy ones from poundland just to see if they actually work and was rather shocked at how faint the lines were in comparison to the boots ones.

sureitsno3, i can def see a line on your new pic.

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 21:48

Your test looks the same as the 1st one I did with DS. Mine's similar at the mo but possibly a bit lighter. If I had yours I would definately take it as a +ive How many days have you done the tests over?

BigBadMouse · 21/04/2008 21:49

Hello sureitsno3 - saw this and was just thinking of you then suddenly you appear! .

Cherubtastic - when I used those tests the line hardly got any stronger so I caved in a bought a clearblue digi - was BFP

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 21:51

Oh am feeling better about the boots tests now! The reason I am fretting is because they did eventually get very strong last time, ended up the same colour as the control line, so I know its possible

OP posts:
sureitsno3 · 21/04/2008 21:51

I have done loads and all have had a faint line, some lighter and some a little darker, but i want a bright line before i will accept i am definately pg iykwim.

Certainly don't feel like i am going to come on period though, i have ordered a CB digital online and if no period by Friday will test then.

sureitsno3 · 21/04/2008 21:52

Aw look lovely BBM is here, she is a saint in disguise you know

I have been testing since last Weds, as have been feeling nauseous and crampy all week.

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 21:53

FRIDAY????? God you're good. I did one the eve knowing I should wait until the morning - but couldn't

OP posts:
sureitsno3 · 21/04/2008 21:56

I haven't been good though, have done about 15 of these cheapie ones, ask BBM, feel like i am cracking up

I am sick of testing now though, i even contacted the seller off Ebay about the ones i bought off them and they said they would take it as i am pregnant, and said you can use OPK tests as HPT too, never heard of that one before, has anyone else?

sureitsno3 · 21/04/2008 21:57

Btw i am only being good, as i have none left lol!

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 21:57

Keep looking at your pic. Dont know if mine would even show up on camera

OP posts:
sureitsno3 · 21/04/2008 21:59

I thought my pic is pretty crap actually, and keep thinking they are all evap lines! i have had a few that prob wouldn't show up on the camera.

Have you got any left? do one in the morning and see what that one is like.

suwoo · 21/04/2008 21:59

Sureitsno3- That's a definite line! I got a line like that 4 days before I was due on and accepted it straight away....DS is a 16 month old little bugger.

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 22:00

LOL @ no more tests. I bought 20 and have used 16 I read a post about OPK's too, the link said basically yes it did work but dont take it as 100%.

I have cramps andnausea too and am weeing for england. Maybe that is the problem - I'm not holding it in long enough

OP posts:
BigBadMouse · 21/04/2008 22:02

Cherub - I tried to take a photo of mine (which were BFP) for sureitsno3 on my camera but they wouldn't show up as they were so faint.

Sureitsno3 - I knew you'd use them all up - glad you have the digi on order - how on earth are you going to keep your mind off it until then? I have heard about using the OPK sticks a preg tests too but can't think where / how (sorry, not much help am I)

cherubtastic · 21/04/2008 22:04

Ooops - hubs wants the PC.

Thankyou so much for your replies ladies. Will be testing again in the morning so wish me luck!!!

I'm off to bed to try and 'store up my wee' (i'm going slightly mad)

OP posts:
sureitsno3 · 21/04/2008 22:04

Have added another picture, of another test i did.

I am terrible, the nutty part is i don't even know if i am happy about the fact i am probably pg, just need to know.

sureitsno3 · 21/04/2008 22:04

I know, using all the tests, i am terrible aren't i! every time i had a wee i did one
