Thin uterine lining

My periods have always been regular, 6 days long, heaviest in days 2 and 3 and then slowly reduces. My cycles is 29 days long.

I had a copper coil fitted for a month then decided wanted to try for a baby so had it removed. My periods were fine in the copper coil.

I had a fertility assessment just for reassurance and everything looked fine except I was told my lining is very thin.

Dr asked me if my periods are very short or scarce which they aren't at all and she didn't really have an explanation.

I'm not sure if the copper coil has messed up my cycle or uterine lining somehow??

Any thoughts?

I am cycle day 26 now and worried I won't have a period this month, this assessment was done at cycle day 20.

Only thing I can think of was I had copper coil removed on cycle day 7 and on cycle day 11 I had a random day of bleeding (which has never happened to me) so unless my cycle somehow has changed because of that random bleed.

Either way my lining is thin which sounds strange to me when my period lasts 6 days and the two heavy days are very heavy to the point where I double up on pads sometimes.

So scared/worried.

I am 36 and have dcs, conceived without issues.

How long after your coil removal was your assessment?

Do you think it could be because if coil removal?

I think it's really close in timing. I'd let yourself have a full cycle and then reassess I think.

A full cycle from when?

Hello @JoMaloneCandles - did you mention you had your coil removed within your current cycle at your appointment? Whilst the copper coil is non-hornonal the insemination and removal is likely to have disrupted your lining. I would advise a few cycles to allow things to settle down, and to take specific advise on when to reassess
