Going slightly mad here, this came up on test within 5 mins......... not even sure if i want to be pg but it is driving me nuts, NEED to know so i can get my head around it all.

What about clearblue? you can get them everywhere

Clearblue, from my own experience and what I have read don't tend to be that good at detecting early early early HCG.

FR would be your best bet.

Have you got a late night chemist nearby? If it happens to be a Lloyds tonight they do FR.

I dunno. May just leave it now, it isn't bright enough to me.

Anything this morning

Well i did get a FR, and got a very very faint line very hard to see though, did a cheapie this morning first thing and got quite a prominent line (these are the 10 hcg ones).

So either i am or i am not these cheaps ones are either VERY good at giving false pos+ or i am up the duff but nothing else can pick it up!

I remember with my ds though who was planned, i ov'd on day 19 of my cycle (28 day) did a test on the day my af due, neg, waited 4 days then got a pos+.

My last period was 25th March, and i know the only time i had sex was probably around day 18/19 again so who knows.

Hmmm - I can't see a second line to be honest. I can see some kind of line but too far down towards the max line IYKWIM.

sureitsno3, I got positives with those cheapie ones very easily from before af was due. I never got a positive response on FR even after af was due.

I actually think the cheap tests are reliable, cheap because of no packaging, you just have to use them correctly, discard after the right amount of time and be aware of evaporation lines.

My real concern with testing early (hence why I tested every day for ages until I was well past af) is the possibility of picking up a chemical pregnancy with super sensitive tests.

I think I can see a vertical line but it's very faint and I have to tilt my laptop screen to see it, but yes it does look as though there is one
