Hey all! Might be a silly question but I just want to put my mind at rest, so... I've been using Easy@Home LH strips for a few months now and always found my peak was always rated over 1.0 normally about 1.14 ish, this cycle my peak was only 0.89, is this normal? TIA ☺️

Yes it can be. The last two months mine only reached 0.86 and 0.92. I ovulated after both of them (confirmed by bbt) and I conceived on the last month too with the 0.92 peak.

Thank you! And congratulations! I want to start tracking BBT but I know nothing about it or what I'm supposed to look for😂

@lilymay22 thankyou.

I bought a cheap thermometer from Amazon (read to 2 decimal places). Then I just took my temperature each morning (6-6:30am) just when I would wake up. It could be earlier/later for you. I made sure that I took it before having a drink or going to the toilet.

I put the readings in to fertility friend, just the basic free part of the app. I started around day 8 at the same time as the ovulation tests, and then continued into the two week wait. The app looks for three consecutive days of a raised temperature compared to the previous pre-ovulation temps. If you use the app it will retrospectively add crosshairs on the day it thinks you ovulated once you have the raised temps. Although you might notice the change yourself.

It’s only good for confirming ovulation occured. You can’t use it to ttc because it confirms it days after ovulation, but it does remove any doubt on the ovulation tests and know if you DTD in the window.

Oh wow! Thank you so much this was so helpful, I'm going to order one!☺️

I highly recommend it, I found bbt easy because it was for 20 seconds in the morning and that’s it. Also it’s quite interesting seeing the graph. I add in extra data in the app too such as DTD.
