BBT tracking

Hello lovely people
I would like to start tracking BBT and wondered how everyone does this? I ideally don't want to spend lots of money and I don't have an Apple watch either. Does anyone have recommendations of apps / thermometers they use? I'm happy to pay for a subscription as long as it's not ridiculously priced! Just don't know where to start as there seems to be a lot of info out there and don't want to get suckered into a subscription that isn't worth it...

I have been using the free Flo app and at home ovulation tests but my cycles are anything from 29 days to 40 days so I want to get to grips with BBT!

Hi There,
I use OvuSense, I think I paid £60 for the sensor and you can either buy annual subscription or a monthly one which is £20. I love it, so easy to use and for someone who has PCOS, it’s good as it will let you know you’ve ovulated so you no longer have to keep dtd!

I bought a cheap thermometer from Amazon (needs to be to 2 decimal places) and I use the fertility friend app, just the free section. I take my temp orally and then enter it in each morning. It’s confirmed ovulation each cycle. Just to note though that temping can only confirm it after you have ovulated, it can’t be reliable to try and time DTD like lh tests. I used both lh tests and bbt.

Thank you both for your replies and advice! I'll look into those options 😊
