How is everyone feeling this morning?

I think I’m 5dpo today - started to get achey pains in my boobs and some cramping which is very normal for me on the run up to AF so have a feeling this might be a little sign that everything happened a bit late this month and I missed the right timings but only time will tell!

I'll be 5dpo tomorrow. No symptoms really, I've been exhausted today and fell asleep twice in the day. I did host a kids party yesterday, that could be to blame. I had pink CM last night after dtd, but that's nothing new since TTC.
I hope this is our month! I'm hoping to get some signs of implantation this week🤞🏼x

@Happibara I know the feeling - Its a real rollercoaster bouncing from I think this might be something to a definite no don’t get your hopes up within the space of a few seconds!

I caved and did a frer this morning, only 6DPO i think so very ridiculously early and it has the faintest line that came up within three minutes so feeling a little bit conflicted, pretty sure it’s just an evap or something as it feels way too early but have ordered a few more and will see over the next few days if things change

Oh wow! My fingers are crossed for you!✨
Was it a pink line? I've heard pink lines are most likely to be positives compared to grey evap lines. Please update us this week! Did you have any signs of implantation?x

@amichel Getting closer day by day! When do you think you will start testing? I will keep my
fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I’m 99% sure yesterdays lines were evaps, both tests from the same pack did it and my husband could see the line too and i could pick it up on camera but did sensibly say if it is anything it will end up being much clearer. I couldn’t tell if it had colour or was grey.

Used the same tests but from a different packet this morning (7dpo) still really early but nothing really showing at all, i can see where the line should be but thats about it!! Full on PMS signs going on yesterday and this morning

Henski · 02/09/2024 09:39

Does anyone else here track bbt? I think it’s one of the reasons I’m so patient with testing, I know if it stays high then I’m still in with a chance! Hoping for a busy week this week to get me through, my app is saying my periods are due Friday.
Hope everyone is keeping well 😊

amichel · 02/09/2024 09:47

@Chloemay1616
Premom says I'm due on around the 12th and the other apps say 7th. I think I'll cave on the weekend and possibly test. When are you due AF?

It's so frustrating isn't it?! I thought I had a faint positive a couple of months ago, but learnt it was just a grey evap line x

amichel · 02/09/2024 09:50

@Henski
I was planning on tracking bbt but I don't know if my sleep schedule would mess it up. My daughter still wakes between 2-4am and I have to go and sleep in her bed. My wake time varies from 7-8am. Don't you have to test at the same time every morning?

I'm hoping for a busy week too! CM hasn't dried up yet, but it might the closer I get to AF due x

@Henski not really, I think my sleep pattern prevents getting usable readings - temps are all over the place. Does it work for you for either ovulation tracking, or in the TWW? It's great to have some insight and something measurable data to obsess over!

As a substitute to bbt, I'm tracking the resting heart rate, and using that to scry whether we've been successful 😄 My first pregnancy was completely and very early obvious on the rhr charts, and sadly now I haven't seen anything similar in all the unsuccessful cycles TTC #2... Fingers crossed for a clear spike pattern this month.

I hope you'll have a good week, and good news at the end!

Henski · 02/09/2024 10:25

I purchased OvuSense (you wear the sensor every night I think you just need 4 hours uninterrupted sleep for a reading), for someone with PCOS my cycles are very irregular so I have found it very helpful! I know for those that have regular cycle it’s pretty good at guessing your fertile window. But for me I’m just glad it tells me I’ve ovulated so I don’t have to keep DTD every other day. This is my data so far, it’s been a long cycle.

Happibara · 02/09/2024 10:39

@Henski oh, that seems like a good way to get readings that you can actually trust; I might get one!

And from what I've read your temps look promising, fingers crossed 🤞

Hello? Is it okay for me to join.
im currently 4DPO TTC#1. I had a miscarriage back in December so have just passed what would have been my due date.
I was hoping I would have gotten my BFP before now.
AF is due 14th and I fly to Paris on 13th for a girls trip to Disneyland for my friends 40th.
ill be testing the evening of 12th and early morning 13th (we fly at 8am) to see if I can get a positive before I go so I know to avoid the rides. If not, hopefully AF will arrive to give me the go ahead to enjoy the rides.

Chloemay1616 · 02/09/2024 13:28

@Henski that is definitely something I may look into, to get that confirmation of ovulation and take away some of the unknown and the guesswork and wondering side of things on the run up!

@amichel the weekend definitely sounds a good sort of time for you to start testing based on your dates! Sometimes having a set date in mind to start testing takes away the urge and then caving 😅

My app says AF is due at the end of this week around Friday, however when i felt ovulation type pains and signs this month was a bit later than expected so if i go off that then AF should be due beginning of next week.

Henski · 02/09/2024 13:45

Yeah I defo recommend, it’s not too expensive it’s about £60 for the sensor (always find discount code online too) and then you can buy monthly subscription or an annual one.

Oh this sounds good! I might have to invest in one. I definitely get 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep so that could work

I'm really sorry for your loss. I hope this is your cycle!✨ Fingers are crossed!
That sounds like a good distraction though if AF does show, you'll be able to enjoy the rides😅x

@Henski
I'm really trying to keep my mind busy this week but it's really difficult! I had slight cramping this morning, but I don't want to get carried away with myself as I've had cramps before around this time.
Hopefully we'll get our bfps this time next week.
Have you been experiencing any signs/symptoms?x

OP posts:
Henski · 03/09/2024 10:15

@amichel I don’t really symptom spot (don’t know the difference tbh), all my pms symptoms were still there when I got my bfp, the day I tested positive I actually had my usual painful period cramps and thought my period was on it way! Progesterone is defo high, had a nice shiny face by the evening yesterday and now have lovely red spot on both sides of my cheeks.

Henski · 05/09/2024 12:34

Hi Ladies,
How’s everyone doing anyone caved and tested yet ?

Happibara · 05/09/2024 14:27

@Henski I'm doing my best not to, every morning telling myself that there's no chance it could show anything yet!
To be honest, I haven't had any symptoms that could indicate we got lucky this month, my RHR keeping absolutely steady and the chart is almost level... trying to console myself it's only 7 DPO today.

How are your temps, still elevated?

Henski · 05/09/2024 15:38

@Happibara They are still elevated 9DPO today, same I feel like this month was a trial run, just glad I ovulated !

Figtree11 · 05/09/2024 15:58

If I did actually ovulate I would be either 9dpo or 11dpo. Did a test yesterday & it was negative. No symptoms apart from feeling bloated, but I get that in the afternoons anyway sometimes!

Ncl31 · 05/09/2024 17:57

Managed to resist testing so far. 7DPO, going to try and hold out for 12DPO

amichel · 06/09/2024 20:58

@Henski
Think AF may have caught me. Stringy blood after dtd tonight. Also had some spots on my face which always appears before AF and some cramping.

I’m sorry @amichel Same here, been spotting all day with tummy ache

Happibara · 06/09/2024 22:02

@amichel @Figtree11 I'm sorry... Welcome to the new cycle though! Baby dust and lots of strength for both of you.

I always feel much better on CD1, after all the useless fretting and testing.

In fact, already planning what I can do to improve my chances next month. I have next to zero hope for this one. Will it stop me testing and obsessing? of course not 😩
