Hey, so my predicted ovulation day was Saturday, according to the many apps I use and my ovulation tests 🤣

this is my second cycle TTC baby number 3. Would love to chat to others who are in the TWW too to help pass this painful time!

@LucyCL drives you insane doesn't it! Have an early scan booked for a couple of weeks time too 😅

I’m so sorry @S4mmyj90 for your CP - it’s so cruel. Look after yourself!

18 DPO / 4 weeks 3 days PG today. Just trying to think in terms of milestones. Right now, just glad of the BFP, then will be glad of reaching 5 weeks on Wednesday.

Still pretty convinced I’ll have a CP though. Even though I know it’s early for many symptoms, I just don’t “feel” pregnant. Even though I have occasionally bouts of tiredness, I thought I had more cramping with my DS.

I stopped testing about 6 days ago so I don’t drive myself mad. The MMC has taught me that even high hcg doesn’t mean a successful pregnancy unfortunately. So just going to take each day as it comes and try not to stress. (Easier said than done.)

Would be lovely to stay in touch and see how everyone is getting on.

I do understand even getting a darker line is not a definite answer of a viable pregnancy. Seeing the line progression makes me less anxious after losses. I am also going to take it day by day because anything could happen. Having a positive attitude and feeling hopeful is the way to go forward after losses.
I am sorry that you had MMC last cycle and it must be heartbreaking. I wish you good luck for this pregnancy. If it doesn't go well, I will be happy to listen and talk to you. TTC and MCs are hard. 😔

Sorry to hear you had a CP @S4mmyj90 fingers crossed for the next few cycles!

I’m also at the testing obsessively stage but getting dye stealers now at 20dpo. Going to wait until Tuesday to do my last clear blue digital. Have got an early scan booked in for 7 weeks 🤞🏼

Oh sorry @LucyCL , I wasn’t commenting negatively on your testing! Sorry if it came across that way. I think we each need to do whatever helps to get us through, and that all depends on our own individual experiences and personalities.

I definitely get the urge to test myself, but when I’m sat waiting for that line it’s just too much anxiety, and if it wasn’t as dark as I’d hoped, but I also wasn’t having bleeding or pain, I would just feel like a ticking time bomb! Agree staying positive is best, and the best way for me to do that and protect my mental health is just to say “I’m pregnant until proven otherwise”. Just gotta get through the next few weeks hopefully then EPU said to ask GP for a referral for a scan.

Oh I was not upset at all. I am sorry if my message made you feel like that. 💙I totally agree with you and I really think that you are very sensible about line progression and not overstressing yourself. I read about a lot of types of MCs and I understand that anything could happen. All we can do is to remain calm and positive, take it day by day.

Guys after such a long draining cycle premom guessing my ovulation days after not getting positive opks someone on here suggested based on bbt I actually ovulated on CD 33. I'd stopped doing opks by then as thought I was way out. But today CD 42 I have got a vvvfl 😭 thought it was negative at first but sat here watching it get stronger. It's still barely there but it is there!!! Do you see it? I'm shaking 😭

I am so sorry that you had a CP! I don't think I can forget about the pain and it is close to trauma in my opinion. Because I had a MC in March then getting a second BFP this April gave me hope. CP happened soon after that and I didn't even know anything about it. So, the experience was painful. 😢I feel you completely.

I decided to wait until week 8 and that is when there is likely to be a heartbeat. Also the scan will tell me if it is a viable pregnancy. Ah, it is really scary...😔

Anonymous130197 · 19/08/2024 09:42

Oh I know exactly what you mean, it really is trauma! The best word for it.

We're TTC our fourth so unfortunately I'm seasoned in it. I have cervix issues, had a miscarriage between babies 2-3 and then this now!

And I'm so sorry for all the experiences you've have to endure my lovely.
I don't think it really ever becomes easier to TTC does it? 💗

MeggggsssTTC · 21/08/2024 09:00

Sorry to hear that some of you have had CP this time around. Sending you lots of hugs!

Congrats to everyone that got their BFPs and baby dust to those who haven't gotten theirs yet.

Thanks @Amy341 for setting this thread (it was a life saver during the two-week wait ☺️ you are all fabulous ❤️

I will be 6 weeks on Friday and have had my 3+ weeks on a clear blue digital earlier this week so I'm going to try and stop testing from now on.

Amy341 · 26/08/2024 08:48

So exciting for you! And I’m happy you feel you can stop testing now and hopefully just start to feel more relaxed!

im currently in the TWW now… 3DPO and keeping everything crossed 🥹 we BD almost every day in my fertile window this time (apart from day of ovulation annoyingly!) did anyone else conceive despite not doing it on ovulation day?
