Hertility testing… worth it? Good experience?

Hello!

I am thinking about doing a Hertility test. It’s a bit pricey so just wondered if it was worth the cost at all!

I had an early loss a couple months ago and my cycles have been a bit messy (think they are back on track this month though).

tbh, I haven’t really been trying for that long (got pregnant first month but didn’t stick) but just curious to know if it was anything to do with me.

any experience with it welcome - good or bad ☺️

Hi, I did it a year ago. I was 38 and basically just looking to find out whether/to what extent the clock was ticking. My results were the low end of normal for my age. They wanted to book me in for a further consultation and scan to check my egg reserve but I decided to start trying for a baby a few months later and consider further checks if it didn't happen within a few months. As it happened I got pregnant by accident even sooner than that.

For me it served the purpose, be aware it's a business and they will try to sell you further services but at no point were they pushy. I like the ethos of the company and had a good experience overall.

Also if you register, start the order process but don't complete it they will send you discount codes, I think I got £30 off.

Hi 😊

I did the Hertility test 2 months ago (after 3 months of TTC no.2, with a chemical pregnancy in the first month). I chose to do it as I was worried that something was wrong, and I also knew that given we already have a baby I won’t be getting much help from the GP. We would love the age gap to not be too big so I chose to do it sooner rather than later to address any issues.

The test was super easy but it did take quite a while to come back, but the results were easy to read. Mine came back all fine apart from very high Oestradoil, I actually conceived that month but it ended in a chemical pregnancy again, so I took the results to my doctor last week to see what they’d say. I was surprised that they were very open to them and booked me in for another blood test to re-check my Oestradoil levels.

I’m still waiting for those results but I would recommend Hertility 100% if you can afford it, it offers great peace of mind probably much faster than you could get from your doctor 😊

I recommend hh

Used them twice

WanOvaryKenobi · 15/07/2024 11:34

I highly recommend them. Got a test right at the start of trying when I came off BC - which then showed signs of PCOS. I used this to get a referral to Gynaecology and Infertility which put me ahead of the waiting list as we had only been trying for less than a year. I've now had several rounds of failed letrozole and will use them for another blood test plus scan to see how I am two years later. I will also probably book with a dietician through them to see how best I can prepare myself for IVF. I also have a private prescription for Metformin. There really isn't much help from the NHS in my area on how to manage the root cause of PCOS.

Gynae and fertility told me to take myo inostol too

Look up ' free soul myo inostol '

Im on letrozole
It helps regulate my pcos cycles ( length)
And brings ovulation fwd

Dya mind me asking - when you said failed letrozole - dya mean you didnt ovulate?
Or failed as in didnt get pregnant ?

Low gi foods = good.
Gynae and fertility recommended

I also had an nhs dietician - as i have 2 dietary conditions -, ibs
And a liver condition..

Sending you all the luck

I strongly suggest you get your vit d tested if you havent yet

Vit d deficiency is common but need good vit d for conception

Vit d also reduces miscarriage risk

Dya take zinc ?
Zinc helps fertility
