CD 4 - TTC - anyone else around the same time?

Hello I'm on cycle 3 of TTC. I'm only at CD4 AF was short again this month only 3 days. I've just tested positive for COVID after being poorly all week. So dunno if that's gonna mess up this cycle for me :( still going to give it a good go though.

Hoping some ladies closer to my cycle dates join as every other group seems to be in the tww already

@lily0309 very close to my dates then. So much nicer to have someone of similar dates to go through it with.

Tuesday and Wednesday were the worst no idea how I kept going at work I've slept all day and feel so much better for it. Hoping it doesn't mess with this cycle as heard some people say it throws their cycles out of whack. Determined this is going to be my month!

@ByJollyZebra it definitely seems to be doing the rounds again. Hope you're not suffering too much any more x

so many people have covid again, my partner also tested positive 2 weeks ago! I managed to avoid it but he felt so poorly and was literally bedridden for a whole week. He's still coughing a lot. I literally chose to sleep on the couch for a week to avoid catching it 😂tbh this couch is so wide and comfy I slept like a baby

I'll start doing opks tomorrow morning. I usually ovulate around day 17 it think.
Going to attempt bbt again too but didn't work last month due to my awful sleep pattern.

I know a few people who have had it too and felt rough with it! Pleased you managed to afford it @lily0309.
Pleased to be tracking with you both too, its definitely new to me. I'm trying for baby #3 but I didn't track with either of my other children and my oldest is 10 now so feels like a life time ago.
@BlueberryPoppy123 I'm using cheap ovulation tests, started with mine yesterday but have no idea about testing my temperature really! X

@ByJollyZebra I'm TTC baby 3 too. Had 3 previous pregnancy's.
Baby 1 I fell pregnant on the pill (12yrs)
Baby 2 fell on 2nd cycle (mmc)
Baby 3 fell on 1st cycle (4yrs)
So gutted it's taking so long this time. I've been so lucky to fall easily in the past.

I only use cheap opks too I bulk order off Amazon that way I can do 2 or 3 a day during my fertile days to better pin down my peak.

Temping is new to me. So you have to check it as soon as you wake up before getting out of bed or moving too much. You need to have had at least 4 hours solid sleep before too which is why I struggle as my 4yo hates sleep 😂

Okay thanks, I went to boots earlier today and bought their ovulation strips. I'll start using them when my AF finishes.

This would be my 1st pregnancy, and it's my 2nd cycle TTC

I'm excited for us all! Not sure checking my temperature would work for me either because i don't tend to ever sleep very well, which will come in handy when babies here i suppose!

@BlueberryPoppy123 It's lovely to know that there are others who are trying for number 3, especially with a similar age gap too! I didn't think I would ever be trying for another but so happy and ready to just be pregnant now!

I've known I wanted another since my last was born. But being a COVID baby, getting poor care and no support post birth we wanted to make sure COVID was gone before trying again.
Then said COVID baby has continued to be a terror, in and out of hospital and it put my husband off wanting baby 3 for a long time but I have talked him round finally.
So ready to be a mum one last time.

Oh that sounds so difficult going through all that while covid was happening ❤️

I'm ready to be a mummy again too, I didn't ever think it would be happening. But now with a new partner and we would love one together.

Hi @lily0309! Im cd15, I think i ovulated yesterday. Tests were very strong cd13 and cd14 in the morning then dropped again in the evening. So now the wait begins!

I am feeling great thank you, just a bit worried about TTC this cycle because my partner is now on strong painkillers since earlier this week :( (he got injured at the gym a few months ago and physio sessions didnt help, so now he needs to have a back surgery which is scheduled early august. and the pain is getting so bad, his doctor prescribed him Naproxen to take twice a day + a syrup containing a small amount of morphine to take just before bed which is supposed to help him sleep pain-free....

The Dr said we can continue TTC as there is no evidence that those 2 medications affect male fertility when taken in low doses for a short amount of time

So we will still try, but i'm not feeling as hopeful as last cycle

@pineapple03 I'm still fairly new to ovulation tests but I think that's negative but you're getting close. That's what mine looked like a day or 2 before I got my positive x

CD 14 apparently I'm in my fertile window just waiting for the peak premom estimates ovulation for Friday but we shall see. Up to doing opks 2 times a day but still sitting around the 0.2-0.3 range. Still dtd at least every other day.

@pineapple03 I can't read the tests just by looking at them I have to scan them all in on premom to work it out it's much easier than guessing if it's positive or neg for me

How's everyone doing? I'm CD 15 still no sign of ovulation. Opks are 0.1 today so even lower than they have been 😫 so worried we've left it too late to have another 😭

is this your first cycle using opks? If so, it could be that you ovulate later than you always thought. Apps like flo etc… and web articles make us all believe that we ovulate around CD14 as they assume everyone has a 14 day long Luteal phase, but it’s not true at all

Im CD15 today, im still testing negative too. But my CM is getting more watery and lighter in color so I feel I will ovulate in the next 2 days or so. I also started getting light cramps last night

@pineapple03 no 2nd. But 3rd cycle trying last month I had a peak on day 17 but it happens so fast could easily be missed too, whereas others have a whole day of peak I just caught it where I test a couple of times a day. Probs just winding myself up for nothing

Hi I'm not having a good cycle CD 20 still no signs of ovulation on either opks (been a bit obsessed doing up to 5 some days) 😫 so thinking I might not be ovulating this month. Bbt has been sitting at 35.9 for days so that's not showing signs of ovulation either.

Hi! All my ovulation tests have been negative as well, Im not sure if I missed my surge or if I simply didn’t ovulate. I havent really been consistent with tests and I only tested once a day. So I have no idea.

im terrible at being consistent with anything 🤣 (same with conception vitamins, I forget to take them so often. I missed 3 days in a row last week)

next cycle I’ll try to be more disciplined with it and test twice a day to make sure I don’t miss the surge.

@pineapple03 I think even do as many a day as I did I've still missed my peak. Premom has given up on asking me to do opks and has decided I peaked on CD 18 so based on that it's telling me in 3dpo. Who knows. Not confident at all in this tww. Recommended to test hcg levels on the 8th so I'm going to do all I can to not test before and just pray I did enough. I don't know how to keep doing this though it's so draining. It just consumes me

I know that feeling @BlueberryPoppy123, I feel like it's literally all that I think about, talk about and dream about! I've been testing the last few days (because I'm obsessed even though I knew it was too early). I'm roughly 12dpo today and negative so don't think this is the month for me.

Wondering about looking into monitoring my temperature next month to confirm ovulation maybe?
