What vitamins did you start taking that helped you convince?
I’ve got 3 year old who was convinced first month of trying, this time round we’re in to our 10th month trying. I’m under a gynaecologist because I have irregular periods and painful sex but she won’t see me again/do tests until it’s been a year trying. So I want to try and figure it out myself. Thought maybe I’m lacking some vitamins so what are the best ones to take to increase chance?

Im taking Proceive, vitamin B6 and C (for low progesterone), magnesium, maca, and starflower oil (during follicular phase as it increases CM).

Id recommend private testing in the meantime, I’ve used Hertility and they’re great. You can also do day 21 blood tests online to check progesterone. This is how I found out I’ve got low progesterone and oestrogen.

lifestyle is really important too. I’m trying to lose weight, cut down on alcohol, reduce stress. I’m having counselling for the latter!

Ive just started listening to the podcast “Don’t tell me to relax!” Which has been really interesting. I’m tempted to try acupuncture but can’t afford to do that whilst I’m still having counselling.

PS. That’s a bit rubbish of your gynaecologist- have they done any investigations into your painful periods, like an ultrasound? I’ve been referred for an ultrasound because of painful, short/irregular periods, but as an issue on its own rather than due to TTC. But I thought they’d still investigate the cause?

Oh and I forgot - Coq10. I think good for egg quality? Kept seeing it recommended so added it in!

i'd definitely recommend getting blood tests to check to deficiencies, before you start taking anything. It's much better if you can get nutrients from food, not supplements.

I take the multivitamins from the brand Cuure. it's 2 capsules per day which contain folic acid, all types of B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium and vitamin D

I also take the omega 3 supplement from Holland and Barrett
