Hi 2 months ago I had my AMH levels checked at a private clinic and they were 4.8 I then had the same tests done at an NHS hospital and they came back as 0.7? I’m totally confused? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks (I’m 47)

They must be using different units of measurement, pmol/l to ng/ml

If you look online for a conversation they will probably work out the same

I had this happen to me. I had AMH level tested at fertility clinic last August it was 4.8 and 6 months later I got my AMH done via Hertility postal test and came back as 1.7.

I wasn’t confusing measurement units! They were both the same units, but I was sooo confused and upset how it could drop so rapidly in such a short timeframe. I’ve since miraculously got pregnant - am currently 7 weeks so hopefully won’t need to test AMH again 🤞

Congrats! That gives me hope after my results. Mine from Hertility 6 months ago was 5.2 then this week I did a full MOT with another clinic and it was 2.9! Very low for my age (32) but I have never ttc

OP it’s still worth checking the units of measurement, but I guess it’s quite plausible that’s it’s dropped as well
