Success after chemical pregnancy?

Hi team,

I’m deflated, fell pregnant on our 4th cycle TTC but sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy and I just can’t help but feel like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel..

Would love to hear any success stories from people conceiving after a chemical and going on to have healthy pregnancies? 🙏🏽💖

Thank you 💖 I’m so happy to hear you had successful pregnancies that’s amazing! Did you conceive quickly after your chemical or did it take some time?

I’m not pinning any hopes on it happening quickly for me, I think the disappointment could almost be worse!! Xx

Hello OP, I am sorry that you are experiencing it. I had a CP last month and I am also interested in successful pregnancy stories. Currently I am 11 dpo and I feel like I am lost again. I am sorry that I am not able to provide a successful story however people say you are more fertile after a CP. I did get the strongest LH peak since ttc but I don't know if it contributes to anything.

look around you.

Most pregnancies are "chemical" and have been since the beginning of the species. The average woman will have more "chemicals" than established pregnancies (if they bother to test for them and record them, which has become a bit of a thing in our culture, but has not happened historically, and still does not happen in most cultures)

Most human beings you see walking around you in life would have been a "success" after a "chemical" pregnancy.

Wow, that is well said. I asked my mum if she had any MCs and she said she didn't. I am her only child. Then I asked when she found out she was pregnant with me and she said that her period didn't come so she went to the hospital. The technology in her time was less advanced than today. Nowadays we are able to detect pregnancies so much earlier. It is a good thing but also makes us aware of the existence of chemical pregnancies. So, after the discussion with my mum, I thought that she could have experienced one or two CPs before or after me and she might have treated them as "heavy periods".
