Implantation?

I'm currently CD29 and I've been cramping the past couple of days, no sign of AF yet but I do have irregular cycles. Occasionally over the last couple of days I have had a pink tinge when I have been to the toilet and wiped, I'm wondering if it could be implantation? I also have sore boobs which is not usually a period symptom for me.

Have done a couple of pregnancy tests the last few days (cheap Sainsbury's ones) but they've been neg. I've got some easy@home strips coming

Pink tinge could also be the early release the of an irregular period.

Implantation typically occurs a lot earlier in the cycle.

Sorry, I should clarify my cycles are normally 40 days 😅 and I haven't noticed this type of spotting/bleeding/whatever in cycles previously. I have a 21 month old already and we are TTC but I cannot remember what it was like first time round 😂 and I found out pretty late because of my long cycles

Hi @mangobe I used to have super long cycles too and also can't remember what it was like with DD1.
Implantation usually occurs 8-10dpo. I've had some weird stuff like you today at around 9-12dpo (no clue really) but caved, took an early test and got BFN. A friend of mine who got implantation bleeding said it was a pink streak when she wiped one trip to the loo, and that was literally it.

mangobe · 07/06/2024 19:33

Hi @0rangem0nster! Today I've been much less crampy, no discharge really at all and earlier on I did another test and thought I saw a vvvvvvfl but couldn't be sure I wasn't going mad 😂 I'll just keep testing until I get a BFP or until AF arrives. It's just the not knowing that winds me up 😂 it's only really our first cycle TTC #2 so not massively stressed

OP posts:
mangobe · 07/06/2024 19:35

I should also say, I have no idea how many DPO I am because I only started testing after I guess I must've already ovulated and they were all negative

Glad you haven't had to put up with a long journey so far @mangobe!
When ttc my 1st it took 2 years and medical intervention, and I drove myself absolutely batshit testing relentlessly, and there's a risk of picking up a chemical pregnancy which can be upsetting too - I'd always say if you have to POAS (let's face it, we all do), do it with "normal" tests so at least you don't crush your own hopes thinking you're out because the early test didn't show up positive. And less likely to pick up a chemical too.

0rangem0nster · 07/06/2024 19:38

Me either - I'm either 8, 9,10,11 dpo but also could be only 4dpo, can never tell 😅 reason being I'm not actively ttc right now 😂

mangobe · 07/06/2024 19:42

Thank you, I know it's definitely not been long and DD1 didn't take long at all either, I wasn't expecting anything to happen this cycle it's just been a massive curveball after months of much longer cycles my body has decided this is the one to be different 😂

It is weird isn't it!
Was it like a color to the cm rather than actual blood? Mine was like that but brownish rather than pink - and I never spot before AF, she just comes on full flow. Weirdly, I'm also slightly lactating which very very occasionally happens (randomly) since I stopped breastfeeding in 2022, but the timing is strange.... 🤦‍♀️ bodies are weird aren't they?

mangobe · 07/06/2024 20:42

Yeah just different colour CM I guess!
I'm the same, usually just full flow at once
That is odd, perhaps you are just too few DPO for a BFP to come up today.. have to try again in a few days if still no af! 😄

Ah, it's probably nothing for me, I don't get pregnant that easily so I'd be amazed if I was, even though I've had sex every day bar a couple this month. Did your thing stop already? I was reading just now that implantation bleeding is usually only a few hours to 2 days max.

mangobe · 07/06/2024 22:17

Yeah today I've not really had any CM at all so it was only yesterday that was bad really though I have been cramping for the last few days

I'm not sure if you can see because of the quality but this came up this morning 😅

Implantation?

I can see! Looks life early bfp - you are so lucky with your fertility, congratulations!!! 😁😁😁

Stark white bfn for me this morning, at 10 or 11 or 12 dpo. Terrible bad (lower) back though. Probably just AF on her way.
I feel bad being hopeful because I'm not TTC but I'd be so happy if I were, and the thought of it has kind of made me sad now, because TTC again is quite some months off for me.

mangobe · 08/06/2024 08:50

Thank you, I'd guess looking at the faintness of that I'm about 11 or 12DPO so will keep testing the next few days and hope it gets darker

I hope when you do start TTC again you have a much easier journey 🤞🏻 and don't lose hope this cycle until AF arrives

@mangobe I guess it’s very hard to tell with irregular cycles. I wondered about pregnancy for many years and read all the symptom spotting on here ect.
in then end I had not a single symptom until I was 5 plus weeks.
I was due to go on holiday and was due on anyday for some strange reason decided to take a test a couple days prior, the cheapy strip ones as per your photo and it was positive and a clear line was present near enough the day I was due.
i can’t see a line in your photo but it may just be very faint and the camera may not highlight what you see to us. If there is a faint line then by tomorrow this should have darkened (on a new test of course) so you will know. I wish you luck x

0rangem0nster · 08/06/2024 09:37

@mangobe fingers crossed it gets darker! I'm hoping haha - if I had implantation spotting yesterday it's probably too early to get bfp on a cheapie strip with smu.

mangobe · 09/06/2024 08:59

@0rangem0nster how are you feeling today?

OP posts:
0rangem0nster · 09/06/2024 09:02

@mangobe no AF, bad back, aware of boobs (not sore just "obvious" haha), still lactating, but also bad belly like AF might be coming. No brown CM since Thursday.
No more testing for me, not unless AF isn't here in 2 weeks time (I'm 100% sure I'm in luteal phase now so that should give me a chance to have missed her whenever I ovulated, but I suspect she'll turn up this week sometime.
Did you get a stronger line this morning?

mangobe · 09/06/2024 09:24

That's a good idea!
I tested again but don't think it's any darker, trying not to sweat it because I think it is still v early 😅

OP posts:
0rangem0nster · 09/06/2024 09:26

Sensible - it's supposed to double every 48 hours, not 24, so makes total sense not to be any darker today, especially if you're using the cheap ones - they barely even work properly half the time 😂

mangobe · 09/06/2024 09:28

Exactly 😂 will buy some first response or something in a few days

OP posts:
0rangem0nster · 12/06/2024 06:17

@mangobe any update? Did you get a stronger positive?

mangobe · 12/06/2024 08:12

@0rangem0nster I've attached a pic of my tests from the last three mornings from the top down with the bottom one being this morning so still waiting for a mega strong line but feeling more reassured and convinced I'm still quite early on

How are you?

Implantation?
OP posts:
0rangem0nster · 12/06/2024 09:34

Oh yes, there's definitely some lines there. Can be slow to start.
Still no sign of AF and my back is very sore, but now I'm praying she comes soon, because when I discussed the possibility with my partner he was absolutely terrified and couldn't bear the thought right now, which has put me in a really awful situation 😩
