Embarassing question

This is a super embarassing question concerning my partner (I created a new account to ask this, I hope you don't mind).

We're TTC'ing for two months now, meaning we're a bit more sexually active than before.

Yesterday we have been intimate and suddenly while he was thrusting my partner felt something 'popping'. When he pulled out he felt a sharp pain and there was a drop of blood on his frenulum (he's not circumcised).

As far as I know his frenulum has always been a bit on the short side meaning he couldn't fully retract, so IMHO his frenulum tore yesterday during sex since he can now pull his foreskin aaaaaall the way back, which was impossible before.

I've heard this is something pretty common? The bleeding stopped and the pain went away, should he still go to a doc?

I'd always recommend clinicians over strangers on the net.

I think it's likely it'll be fine assuming it's healed well and not infected.

I'd consider moisturising to soften skin in that area. And of course be consistent with the hygiene regimen to prevdnt smegma and any issues that might lead to not being able i retract in future.

Can always get circumcised if it becomes a recurring issue.
