Not sure what’s going on but my LH is consistently rising by as small percentage each day. I’m on cd13 a usually ovulate by cd14. I have lots of CM but it has no stretch to it also cervix is very soft but I think it’s closed. I added this cycle and one of the previous for comparison. My bbt is also mostly sitting at 36.5 when it should be 36.3 before ovulation.

I imagine you might just ovulate a day or two later this month? Definitely looks like it's getting there

emmatcc1 · 17/05/2024 10:38

@imy I hope so. The no EWCM is really concerning me when I used to have so much.

It's normal to ovulate at slightly different times every month. A cycle variation of up to 7 days is still considered 'regular' so there's no reason to worry here. Just a heads up though, your tests aren't lined up properly on the app meaning they aren't being read properly, so when you're taking the picture you need to ensure the test and control line have been captured properly. You've also got all different levels of lighting which doesn't help for the app to measure consistently.

@Girlfolk The app automatically takes a picture when the test is detected in the frame and then you can adjust where the control and test lines are and it calculates the difference in color so the light doesn’t have a role here. I tested this and the results where the same in light or dark on the same test

Yes I also use the app. I’ve attached a pic of mine so you can see what I mean about them lining up properly. Fair enough if you think that consistent lighting isn’t necessary. But if your control and test lines were lined up properly, they wouldn’t look like they do in your picture of the app.

@Girlfolk After the picture is taken you mark where each line is individually and the reading is calculated by how much difference in color is of the lines that you have marked so it doesn’t matter if all the tests line up or not.

@Girlfolk I experimented, same test different lighting and not aligned. 0.01 difference which is nothing.

Maybe I'm just a neat freak then who likes it to look just so! Is that on the 'manual' photo option you're doing that, I always use the automatic one and it doesn't ask me to identify the control and test lines I just have to confirm it's correct. I have seen people on here using the automatic setting and they've not got the test and control line in shot properly and got some wild results and then they're confused about what's going on.

emmatcc1 · 17/05/2024 14:26

@Girlfolk It look like this. When the camera detects the test this shows up. And the C and T that are right under your test are adjustable, you hold on the letter and it slides left and right.
You might be talking about the second picture where the app chooses a random spot as a control line and it gives a crazy result.
