Cervical positioning post ovulation

Hi everyone :)

I was wondering what your experiences are of cervical positioning post ovulation. When I was TTC my first baby, I "knew" I was pregnant because my cervix remained high after ovulation. I am now TTC baby number 2 and I'm wondering how much of a sure fire indicator this is. I'm 6DPO today and my cervix is low (it was high during ovulation and has now moved down), so to me this means I am out of the game. However I don't really see others mentioning this on this board so maybe I am putting too much weight onto it??

Grateful for views/experiences!

Hi

I think from what I’ve read, the cervix can go low after ovulation and then raise up again towards the end of the cycle if pregnant so you’re not out just yet! Best of luck 🤞

Thank you @Peachygal27 - I actually checked after posting this and it does seem to be higher today...!

I used to check cervix and was firm lower before period and this happened and I am currently 6w pregnant so I wouldn’t say it’s a sure thing no

Mine went low and hard and then raised up after bfp

cervix position isn’t accurate as it changes all the time. I’ve had high barely reachable but still came on my af. During pregnancy it also changed from high to low and from soft to hard.
