Hi everyone, l've suspected I had Pcos for quite a while now however just now Recently diagnosed, have been trying to conceive for around 10 months now, but haven't been "careful" for around 18 months. I'm currently on a health journey (weight loss, exercise) etc... and have tried quite a few things... such as inositol ( which gave me a period the first time I used it within around a month. I had a period every month consistently for 3 months following that then it stopped and for the last 4 months I've had nothing, no period despite continuing inositol. I've also tried a supplement drink with a few supplements as suggested by a "Pcos creator" online. It had the following in it: 4g of insoitol, 5g of l- glutamamine, 1000mg of NAC, 1.5g of I carnitine, 2g of tyrosine & 4000mg citrulline. However this didn't do anything but give me an upset stomach while taking it. I'll obviously continue my journey with weight loss and eating healthier foods, but I just feel at a complete loss as I feel it just won't happen. Although I am bless with a lovely DH who supports me. Can I ask what you did/ changed or took if you have successfully conceived with pcos? Or if you have any advice?
thank you :)

Look at trying a ketogenic diet to reduce overall inflammation. Basically cut out all processed foods, or anything made with flour, to reduce carb consumption down to fresh vegetables while eating lots of fresh fish, meat and natural fats.

I've got PCOS and a whole host of other things that on paper would make conceiving challenging. I now have a 1 year old!

I took Conceive Plus fertility support, and tracked my ovulation ensuring we did the deed on prime dates... we did experience some early losses but were very lucky to conceive our now 1 year old in around 6 months!

Best of luck!

Low gi diet - gynae told me

Get thyroid checked

Be checked 4 rubella anti bodies

Get full blood count and check feretin, vit d and prolactin

Take metformin
And myo inostol

Get your progsterone checked 7 days after ovulation - you want progesterone over 30

With pcos - common to have low shbg - eat some natural fat free yog with walnuts added into it

I have pcos and miscarriage history.

Hertility health = very good for hormone and fertility

150 gbp
Money well spent.

Randox health - 30 gbp - progesterone test

Do ask gp 4 referral to gynae

Ask 4 transvaginal scan to check 4 structural

Good luck

@worldwidetravel2017 thank you so much! This is very useful information. I will definitely look into each one and try to arrange tests etc. Shall I just go into my GP who diagnosed me & ask for a ref to gynae? Thanks once again & very sorry to hear about your miscarriage history :-)

Try soya isoflavones if you aren't ovulating. I conceived my second using them. They work by inducing ovulation.
