So I think I’m about 11-12 DPO today. Think AF is due Sunday but didn’t track ovulation this month. I did a test this morning with FMU that was a real squinter but felt I could see something - almost like a shadow of a line. Tested again a couple of hours later and there was definitely something there - even husband agreed but it was super super super faint. I tested again this evening and got this very faint line. It showed up within the time frame and it seems to be pink. It’s very faint but at least it’s visible on camera unlike the one this morning. I’m taking some comfort from the fact this was done about 5pm with less than a 2 hour hold so hoping that’s a good thing. But just want other people to see and make sure I’m not crazy. I don’t want to get my hopes up after 7 months of TTC and never even having a hint of a line. Hoping to do a clear blue tomorrow but terrified it will be BFN! Any advice please 🙏🏻🙏🏻

@pumpkinpatches22 I've had positives before and then bled. Possibly a chemical? Pregnant within a year of not using contraception, but I didn't ovulate regularly. 26 when I fell pregnant. You might not actually have fertility issues as it can take up to a year for a younger couple without any issues to fall pregnant.

@Wanderdust im surprised the NHS have told you to wait a year. I thought over 35 they would investigate after 6 months but try not to stress too much (I know it’s hard). I think the more pressure you put on yourself will only make it worse and as someone who has younger siblings ranging from 4 years younger to 11 years younger I promise you that age gaps really don’t matter that much. I have a brother 2 years older than me which I loved but I also loved being the big grown up sister to my youngest sibling who is 11 years younger that me.

I would say that going via Hertility has at least eased some of my worries and just given me some confidence I’m okay. The blood tests were really quick and comprehensive. I had a conversation with a fertility consultant to discuss them after and they were really reassuring. The pelvic scan was organised within a week and I had a full report from a gynaecologist within 48 hours which has been brilliant. And at any point you can take your results and go back to your NHS GP if you want to and let them take over. I’m an over thinker by nature and I just wanted to know I’m not trying in vain if something was wrong and find out over a year later.

@Babaquestions - I’m 29 so I know I’m young and I know it can take a year to fall pregnant naturally anyway but i don’t think there’s any harm/shame with women actually being empowered about their own reproductive healthcare and doing those checkups earlier on if they want to. I’m somebody who feels better having all the facts. Im not a wait and see sort of person and I get anxious easily so having the peace of mind has been hugely beneficial to me. And the less stressed I am, the better chances we have of conceiving so I feel like I’m doing what’s right for me personally by making sure I’m ship shape and shiny.

Sending baby dust to you all 💕
