Cervical mucus ttc

Hi,

I stopped birth control late December and my period returned late February. Since then my cycles have been different lengths. I've been tracking ovulation and have seen LH surges but have had no egg white cervical mucus. I know I got it pre pill (but that was a good few years ago). Worried that as I'm older now (35) it's 'dried up- and I'm less fertile? Also aware that my hormones may not be fully in balance yet. Wondering if anyone has had something similar and their ewcm has returned of if been a wider fertility issue? Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Hi OP. I very rarely get it nor did I when I conceived (at 33). Btw, I conceived on my second month of trying and I thought I was in for a long journey of infertility because I have also never ever had a positive OPK and I’ve done loads.

Thank you - that's reassuring. It's hard when you don't know what your normal or 'new normal' is and whether it's healthy or not. Plus the overthinking!

I also never got it and assumed it meant I couldn't get pregnant - but I did within two months of coming off the pill :)

You can get synthetic equivalents - I think one is called Pre-Seed? Mimics EWCM as helps the sperm to swim. Could be worth trying!

I've bought the Conceive+ one so shall see!
