Hello . I'm 1dpo on second cycle of TTC since my last loss in Nov. I had an 8 week loss in Nov, a 12week MMC Feb 2023 and 5 chemical pregnancies last year. Really hoping for a sticky baby and some people to share the ups and downs with 😁🌞❤️

Oh bless you - sounds like you’ve had a tough year 😢 hope you get your rainbow baby soon! Am about 6 dpo here! Been trying since sept for second baby xx

Shortcake06 · 12/04/2024 16:52

Hello @DarkCrystal85
I’d love a cycle buddy, although I’m still waiting on my positive opk I expect it today or tomorrow!
Im so very sorry about your losses 💐 I can’t imagine how hard this was and I hope this is your month.
@Lalaland13 hello and I hope it is your month also! I have also been trying since September last year for baby number 2.

Im ttc no 2 since a miscarriage last August. Have been coping fine but anxious this month as to why it still hasn’t happened. Have banned my husband from baths. I’m CD15 and normally ovulate on CD16 or 17 so would love some buddies to help me through the madness of the TWW.

Adamsapple89 · 12/04/2024 19:02

@DarkCrystal85 oh sounds like you’ve had a really hard time of it sorry to hear that. I’m currently ovulating or 1dpo so similar to you ☺️ I’m going to Mexico in 2 weeks without bf so next month is out hoping we catch but also know the chances are only 20% each month so trying to be realistic

DarkCrystal85 · 12/04/2024 22:26

Thankyou for all your kind words and for joining in this tww TTC crazy journey.
I had 2 losses at 6 weeks as a teenager so my next loss would be my 10th and I'm really hoping that doesn't happen. My last loss had trisomy 15 and I've had my bloods sent for karyotyping but due to my age (38) I've been told to carry on TTC by my OBGYN cos the tests can take up to 9 months to come back. I've been taking coq10 for a few months now (to improve egg quality) High dose folic, high dose vit d, prenatals since before I started TTC in 2022. Keeping everything crossed it happens soon. We have a daughter my wife carried who is 4 and 5 in October and we lost a baby before her a little boy when my wife was TTC, and we really hoped for a much smaller age gap for our 4 year old but when I was planning on trying there was COVID, then after COVID we were given notice on the house we lived in and wanted to wait till we were settled in new house and now I'm kicking myself that we waited. I try remain positive but I'm so scared to be trying again knowing it could still be a scary outcome but am more scared to give up as then those lives were in vain in my eyes, if that makes sense. Anyway haha
@Lalaland13 how was your first pregnancy? I hope you get your BFP in the coming days? Are you like me and test asap lol? (I use the excuse that I need to go onto aspirin at the first whiff of a positive 🙈) But really I buy 50 sticks at a time off Amazon and I think I'm a bit of a poas addict 😬. Sending baby dust to you x

@Shortcake06 I hope you get your ovulation soon so you can try, it's such a wait and then the tww after it's like all we do is wait for 2 weeks continuously x please explain the no baths rule 🤔 I'm wondering if I should tell the donor not to bathe haha. I'm sorry about your loss ❤️ TTC after loss is a huge rollercoaster of emotions and the anxiety is crippling on occasions. This is the main reason I wanted to start a new thread with my history as may help others and also it's nice to have buddies in this.

@Adamsapple89 Thankyou for joining and thankyou for your words. It's been a heck of a year lol. Oooo Mexico sounds amazing. Fingers crossed you get your sticky baby this cycle and if not then you can at least enjoy all the cuisine and drinks Mexico has to offer as a treat. 20% feels about right haha. I seem to get pregnant often enough but they just done stick but hoping the aspirin makes a difference once I get a positive and then coq10 makes a difference in improved quality eggs.

Good luck to you all and thankyou for joining the thread. Let's hope this is all our months... And if not we can always return the following dreaded tww haha 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻❤️❤️❤️

Hey lovelies, I hope you don’t mind me joining. It’d be so nice to go through the dreaded 2WW with people who can actually relate! My first pregnancy was great, DD is now nearly 4. So of course TTC baby number 2 couldn’t go to plan! I had a MC at 8 weeks this January & this is our first month TTC since. I’m CD16 and have just had my positive OPK & solid CB smiley. Im not sure if that makes me 1DPO tomorrow or Monday?

I’m so sorry to hear about everyone’s hardships, as if the TTC process isn’t bad enough without the added worry! Hoping this is our month & we all get some sticky babies 👶🏼 @DarkCrystal85 @Adamsapple89 @Lalaland13 @Shortcake06

Lalaland13 · 13/04/2024 22:27

We were incredibly lucky with first pregnancy- conceived first cycle we tried and we now have a 2 year old 🥰 very lucky and do feel very blessed. Would love him to have a sibling, we are older parents - I’m 38, 39 in sept and hubby is 42.

haha of course I test !! Poas addict! Once I start I don’t stop! Trying to hold off this time but pretty sure will be testing Tuesday and that’ll be 8dpo I think. It’s addictive! I’m worried I don’t have enough! Really don’t feel pregnant though tbh!

When you going to test @DarkCrystal85 ? Have you any symptoms?

Lalaland13 · 13/04/2024 22:28

Best of luck to us all 🥰 @DarkCrystal85 @Shortcake06 @JasmineZMD @Adamsapple89 🥰🥰

spring seems like it’s here, bring on our babies!!

DarkCrystal85 · 14/04/2024 00:08

Aw hello and welcome aboard @JasmineZMD . So sorry for your loss, it's just awful to go through so sending hugs. I hope this cycle is a good cycle for you ❤️ I usually class the day following peak ovulation test as ovulation day and the following day 1dpo. Not far away from me I'm just going into 3dpo now and just hoping the next week goes quickly haha x

@Lalaland13 ooo glad I'm not the only poas addict haha. I counted mine earlier and have 35 so that's good. I got my first faint positive 7dpo in my last pregnancy and my first positive at 14dpo in another. (the chemicals all seem to have been day 9 or 10dpo but those never progressed.) So I test from 7dpo now 😬 I'm also 38, 39 in December. My wife carried our living daughter when she was 39 so that helps me feel confident. I'm really hoping we all get our positives this cycle. Spring is in the air... As well as April showers haha XX let us know Tuesday how your test goes 😁

Shortcake06 · 14/04/2024 17:53

@DarkCrystal85 the no baths thing is because apparently heat is really damaging to their swimmers! And can reduce their sperm count. My husband lives a bath!
@JasmineZMD im so sorry to hear of your loss. Until my own miscarriage I did not realise how common it is. So many of us trying again after loss!
@Lalaland13 how are you getting on? Any symptoms?

I have no idea what’s going on with my body. I normally always ovulate on day 16/17. I started testing at day 14 and it was really quite dark but not positive so I assumed it was starting to darken. But instead of getting darker they have got lighter! So I have no idea if I ovulated early or if I’m going to ovulate really late 😞 Just feel like I’m already out this month before I’ve had a chance to try. We have been having sex every two days so that’s the only thing keeping me going that we still may have a chance.
Im 34, my child is 4. Getting pregnant at age 29 took 6 months after stopping the pill.

Adamsapple89 · 14/04/2024 19:55

@DarkCrystal85 aw so difficult for you. I’m taking coq10 currently and a host of other vits

@Shortcake06 oh annoying on the OPKs but if trying every 2 days I’m sure you’ll cover it. I’m not feeling positive this month only twice on the lead up to ovulation due to bf getting stage freight

Lalaland13 · 14/04/2024 21:08

No symptoms here - pretty sure out, we know DTD twice as hubby been so busy with lambing. Kind of writing off this month and will really try next. Also have a randox blood test to do Tuesday - hoping will give some useful info.

You had any symptoms @DarkCrystal85 ?

I find the OPKs tricky, I never seem to get a proper peak.

DarkCrystal85 · 14/04/2024 23:29

No symptoms yet I don't think. I've been kind of snappy today 🤔... Though I did spend a while putting up a tent in the wind with my 4 year old and my cat 'helping' me so I can probably put the mood swings down to that lol. I've literally just started feeling pinching in my right side in the last couple of hours but that could be due to the insane positions I've been in today while getting the tent up, feels a bit like a stitch and I'm too early to start the usual symptoms spotting...it was the tent haha (preparing for a camping trip in may, I wanted to make sure the tent was still in one piece after being stored for 3 years haha). I'm hopeful but also honestly feel like I'm possibly out this month. We saw donor on day 10 and 12 of cycle and I ovulated day 13 but also on day 12 there wasn't much of a...donation 🤔 and tmi I felt like I lost alot when I stood back up too 🤢 I wish TTC as a same sex couple was easier haha or my wife could turn into a guy one week a month 🥴 so because of that I feel a bit like I must be out lol. Although at this point I feel I do alot of self preservation too.

@Shortcake06 maybe you did ovulate just before cd 14? I was ovulating anywhere between day 17 and day 23 of cycle for the last year and then the cycle I started TTC again (and after a few weeks on coq10) I randomly started ovulating at my pre loss days of 12/13, I was shocked it changed so quick I'd have expected it to be a gradual change but nope. I'm sure you've covered it X good luck

Hope you are all doing ok X fingers crossed for everyone in here 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻❤️

Shortcake06 · 15/04/2024 08:59

@Adamsapple89 i don’t think you’re out! Just before ovulation is the best time to try and you did that. I have everything crossed for you!
@Lalaland13 not out until your period shows! With my last two pregnancies I had absolutely no symptoms at all before my positive. I hope it’s a positive for you 🤞
@DarkCrystal85 i think putting a tent up with a cat and four year old would cause anyone mood swings 😝 my child is 4 too and wants to be a part of everything too. It’s fun but can be exhausting 😂
it sounds like you have it covered with dates! TMI but “losing” a lot is deffo normal 😂
I definitely don’t think you are out but I completely understand the self preservation thing. I do that too to stop myself getting my hopes up too high.

My OPKs are still negative. I should have started testing earlier but I think I probably had a positive on day 14 and probably ovulated on day 15. We had sex on day 13,15 and 17. Here’s my
chart from premom. My body has been a bit weird since the miscarriage.

DarkCrystal85 · 15/04/2024 22:33

Hmm either that or somewhere between your day 14 and 15 test? It's amazing how quickly it can happen and how easy it is to just miss that high peak. I had a funny one this cycle, my peak ovulation tests are usually around 1.50 on premom app, this was much lower but appears to have been a peak and I definitely felt like I was ovulating so I reckon if I'd have taken a test around 3am it probably would have been a higher positive. I'm sending baby dust and keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Well I'm an emotional wreck today. Cried at Bluey and then cried some more when I later started thinking about the final Bluey episode 🙈
How's everyone else doing?
Lala have you done any sneaky tests yet? 🤔😁

Lalaland13 · 18/04/2024 10:04

Hey! Sorry been in other thread with the 35+!

I’ve got a very very very very very faint line!

showed on Tuesday - it’s not really progressed so worried another chemical but telling myself today I am pregnant

Lalaland13 · 18/04/2024 10:06

Do you guys do your BBT? That is meant to help confirm ovulation, I never get dark lines on the ovulation tests tbh but it’s either there as a faint line or not at all

Lalaland13 · 18/04/2024 10:06

Do a test @DarkCrystal85 - assume you have tonnes of cheapies?

DarkCrystal85 · 18/04/2024 10:12

Aw @Lalaland13 I hope you get more progression. I had one super faint positive last month and then negatives and got period 3 days late so I assume I had another chemical too. I try see a positive in it as there may have been something wrong causing a much later loss and after 2 later losses I'd much prefer my body to do what it needs to do early enough to not cause me to need to put a hold on trying the following cycle. I had 4 chemicals in a row last year, I think it makes you more fertile the following cycle but also makes me really wonder what my own genetics blood tests will come back with.
And haha yea I will do one tonight, I'm aware it could come back negative even if I am but I have plenty of the cheapies 😁

I don't do bbt as my cats and kid has me up all times and it's never a baseline for me but I do feel ovulation pains when I'm ovulating which always correspond with the sticks so I'm hopeful. Just shocked they moved from day 17+ to day 13 so quick since last MC considering last year they never went back to normal. I'm gonna say the coq10 has made that difference as I wasn't on that before but was on all the other meds.

Fingers crossed you get more lines x

OP posts:
Adamsapple89 · 18/04/2024 10:14

@DarkCrystal85 try to wait out to test it’s hard I know 😅 I’m good thanks. The last 2 months I’ve been spotting since CD21 so roughly 6/7
day before AF and this month nothing yet so that’s positive in terms of cycle regulation. Currently CD22 but cramps so assuming AF will be saying hello next week

@Lalaland13 that’s good news you got a line. Hopefully it progresses for you 🤞🏻

DarkCrystal85 · 18/04/2024 11:32

Aww @Adamsapple89 I'm hoping the cramps mean something else 🤞🏻 especially if your cycle seems different. It is nice when things start to regulate too. Ha I told myself I'll test tonight but it's mainly because I know I'll probably get a negative but I'll have itchy feet if I don't and also I have had a positive as early as 7dpo and would like to know asap so I can start taking the aspirin and stop taking the coq10 and also reduce my coffee intake from 2 cups to 1.

I've just had the day 21 progesterone blood test done so I can ensure my progesterone at this point in the cycle is where it's meant to be so keeping fingers crossed that's all ok cos I really don't want to have to take the suppositories again 😫 but I will if I need to.

Sending baby dust to all of you 🤞🏻😊

OP posts:
Adamsapple89 · 18/04/2024 16:52

@DarkCrystal85 oh I’m 7dpo today too but I’ve never tested this early think I’m actually just going to wait see if I start spotting. The norm for me is 2-3 days before. If you do test let us know!

I had my day 21 bloods last month took like a week to come back but was all good. Fingers crossed good news for you x

DarkCrystal85 · 19/04/2024 13:45

Aw @Adamsapple89 I'm keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Can I ask what your progesterone was? Mine has come back 30.3nmol/L, the doc says that's fine as it's within their range but I've since read that is needs to be above 30 to sustain a pregnancy and mine is just on the cusp. Then read other things saying above 18 and now I'm all confused 😫

My test was negative, which I assumed it to be so haha. I was staring at it a while and I'm sure my eyes have natural lines in which makes it look like I'm seeing something but I'm not 🙈 I'll probably try nightly now until I get af. I get 50 cheap sticks at a time and that usually lasts 3 or so cycles 😬 so I'll get some more at the end of the month anyway as well as ovulation sticks as I ran out on day 15, so I hope the surge I had was the real surge and not a oops I'm just having a practice run surge lol. I just can't wait to have my baby in my arms and be done with all this testing and tracking lol XX good luck to everyone x
