I need help trying to figure out which person is the dad

My lmp was 16/7/23
My cycle is normally 33 days
I had sex with person A on
30/7/23
31/7/23
1/8/23
5/823

Person B
14/8/23

I was due my period on the 16-17/8/23
But it never came and took a pregnancy test on the 24/8/23 and it came up 3+ on a clear blue
Is there a possibility it's person B

You’ve asked this a few times now including sending PMs asking for specific advice about exactly the same scenario. As everyone has said it’s very very likely to be person A, who you’ve said is your ex. Worth getting a DNA test to be 100% but I’d proceed on the basis this is your ex’s baby and not your new partner’s.

She slept with B once at the point her period was essentially due. And that was a week after A.

The father is A. But to avoid legal issues and accusations later you should still get a DNA test done.

Based on the dates I would say person A..... But, if it is eating you up enough to ask here I would work on that basis and get a test once baba is born otherwise it will always drive you mad.

Is person A someone you are. In a relationship with and B on the side (no judgement)? If so I wouldn't blow up relationship by putting the possibility out there yet. It would be very unusual to get pregnant that long after ovulation as egg shouldn't be viable.

I think you definitely need a DNA test. One of my friends got pregnant by having sex during her period, so the body can definitely do some surprising things.

Having said that, babies do very often look exactly like their fathers, so if DC is the spitting image of Person A, then that may simplify things a lot.

Well it's almost definitely A, but it would just niggle in my mind forever and ever and I would need to do a test to be sure. Do they both know ?

Gosh, sorry to hear you are in such a predicament but based on what you are sharing Person A seems the likely father. There is no way to really confirm unless you do a genetic test.

Also, sperm can live inside you for 5-7 days. The last three dates you listed are the likely dates you were fertile and you likely conceived then. You had sex with Person B just a few days before your period was due so, no, it is fairly unlikely Person B is the father. 32-33 days less 14 days = Days 18, 19 so it falls squarely into the dates you were with Person A.

It's a well known fact that you can get pregnant if you have sex during your period? (Without going into all the bits as to how). If your friend thought otherwise, she was misinformed.

It could NOT be person B. No way would you get a 3+ 10 days after having sex. At best you would be 10dpo at that point (if you ovulated on that day) which would not even give you a positive on a clear blue digital. Plus that very late in your cycle to ovulate.

@Newpancake92 The only way to get pregnant during a period is if the person ovulates soon after but that happens rarely considering the egg is not a good enough quality before cd11.

What I'm saying if someone has intercourse on their period and gets pregnant it's nothing to do with 'nature being so strange and unpredictable', it's all to do with that person having missed their sex ed at a school.

And since we're teaching each other about conception now, it's not at all that unlikely. Someone can have an intercourse on eg day 4-5 of period, but the egg might ovulate on day 10 and there will still be viable sperm there.
I'm just shocked people here are trying to pass something as unusual, abnormal and call it unpredictable nature when all it is they're lacking knowledge.
There's no strong evidence it's exactly day 11 as you said. You might've seen it in some article but it's not all so black and white.
