Am I pregnant… clear blue test

So I have been having symptoms like sore boobs, nausea, needing to pee a lot, mild cramps about a week ago that lasted 2-3 days and not being hungry. I have also had white discharge. I have done 3 clear blue tests. With two having lines after being left for a while but I thought I saw I faint line/shadow during the testing window. I have also just come off my northistrone (prestrone only tablet that was at quite a high dose) doctor said I should have my period within 2 weeks and it’s been a week and a half. Me and my partner have had unprotected sex 4 times. Just wondering if there is any chance I could be. See pics attached below.

Also am I best to just use the pink dye tests…. I have read on other posts that they can be more accurate ? Just wondering if this is true ? Thanks

To me these look evap as the line is so thin.

Hard to tell. The clue dye tests can be crap. Buy some pink dye ones in the morning. Cheap enough if you have a boots or Superdrug nearby

This might be clearer

They’re evaps. If your symptoms were attributable to pregnancy then you’d be getting a positive test.

It’s unlikely that you’d test positive now if you only came off your pill 10 days ago so I’d wait for 17 days from date of unprotected intercourse and then test if no period.

Olika · 07/04/2024 06:02

In your new pics the lines are still very thin.

Cutekitty · 07/04/2024 06:03

So does faint thin lines mean evaporation lines ? Sorry first time having this. I’m just confused

I had exactly that kind of line and now have an 18mo. Do a different test and you might have a stronger line🤞

Olika · 07/04/2024 06:07

Yes usually thin lines are evaps. Positive lines are wide like the control line.

Cutekitty · 07/04/2024 08:35

Sweet! And also does the line need to be grey/colourless to be an evaporation line ? Cos mine in bright blue. Sorry not sure so just asking

I had this sort of faint line even when my period was 10 days late…with my first child!

Buy a First Response test. That immediately gave me a very clear, very dark positive even when Clear Blue was showing these supposed ‘Evap’ lines .

MrBigsCat · 07/04/2024 09:43

@Cutekitty ive had bright blue evaps on clear blue
try a digital that would give you a definate answer

DrunkenElephant · 07/04/2024 09:46

Clearblue are notorious for these lines, there’s a lot of info on Google and on these boards by others that have had the same and not been pregnant.

Try a pink dye test, but based on those I wouldn’t say you weee pregnant sorry x

I don't mean this in a horrible way but you've had at least 3 or 4 other threads about asking if you could be pregnant starting from 2 days after you stopped taking the pill.
While it's not impossible to ovulate immediately it's quite unlikely. And even if you did ovulate immediately it takes about a week for an embryo to implant and for symptoms to start.
Also those tests look like evap lines. Clearblue evap lines are always a very blue thin or broken line. If you want to get a true result use a pink dye test.

Cutekitty · 08/04/2024 04:44

I have read up online and it says that the evaporation line should be clear/grey/colourless. Am I just over thinking things ? I gonna go and get a pink dye test today I think

Evap lines can be blue but thin whereas positives are blue and wide. Definitely get a pink dye as they are easier to read. 🤞🏼

People explained this to you on your last 4 threads as well as showing you their own examples.
Clearblue are known for giving very blue thin lines that are not positives.
If you Google you will see hundreds of other examples of people getting blue thin lines and not being pregnant. The colourless rule does not apply to clearblue.

sarahc336 · 08/04/2024 22:51

Thin blue lines are very often evaps, even if they're blue the line should be as thick as the test line
