Hertility results - should I be worried?

Hi everyone, I recently did a blood test with Hertility and have just received my results. It is mostly reassuring I think.... everything is within normal range except prolactin and oestradiol which are both ever so slightly high.
Prolactin is 655.00mIU/L
Oestradiol is 333.00pmol/L

Like I said everything else is within normal range, including AMH, FSH, LH and thyroid.

Does anyone have any advice or know what might cause this? I don't know whether it's worth paying for a consultation or going to see my GP.

For anyone thinking of using Hertility, I would recommend it. I found it very simple and the report is very easy to read ❤️

Definitely take the results to your gp
They will advise

Prolactin can be high 4 a few reasons but it needs looking at and re testing

My friend had very high prolactin

Hers came down by the next test

I have high prolactin, well, not anymore because I've been taking medication for 10 years.

The main concern from it is that is lowers from estrogen - which stops you from conceiving, and having periods or if long term bone loss (which is why I have to take medication to lower it for life).
But your estrogen is high so I wouldn't be too worried. When my prolactin was around 1700, my estrogen was literally 0 - I hadn't had a period for 3 years.
Many things cannot raise prolactin: stress, the time of day, breastfeeding, even just touching your boobs. I'd ask your GP, they'll probably to a repeat blood test and if it's still high refer to an endocrinologist who will in turn order an MRI. But with high estrogen chances are it'll be lower on the repeat test.

It depends how long you've been TTC? If over a year, you can speak to GP anyway. if less than a year, i really wouldn't worry.

Thanks so much everyone. I think I will try and make an appointment with GP just to recheck in a month or so!
I have been under a lot of stress the last 2/3 months so I did wonder whether that will have played a part.

I have been TTC for 12 months in May so nearly a year......
