Hi all, I came off the pill three months ago to start TTC my 3rd after a 10 year gap (due to my 1st and 2nd being with my ex husband). I’m 39 next month (DP has just turned 42), so very conscious that it could take a lot longer than previously.

So far I’ve had some very short cycles although they do seem to be getting closer to 28 days.

I am thinking about using conceive plus tablets, but very confused by whether to use the fertility support, or the ovulation support tablets.

Has anybody had success with either?

Hi OP, I use the ovulation support ones because I have an irregular cycle but on the long side (usually between 29-42 days). I did feel like they were working for a few months as I had 2 regular 29 day cycles in a row but then had a random 41 day one again. So considering they are quite expensive, I'm not sure I'd recommend. Like PP said, I'd start by using OPKs to track when you're ovulating as that's the first thing you need to know. I would start by just taking folic acid and vitamin D. You only came off contraception 3 months ago so any irregularity in your cycle is likely just down to that.
