Newish poster but have been posting on here recently but lurked for ages before then!

Name changed purely for privacy, as I've posted the odd picture of things that could out me. No idea if anyone I know is on here but want to keep it private until anything happens (if it does)

Today marks my first month off the pill so we can try to concede!

I've been taking the 7 seas folic acid since September

Just posting for any hints/tips/advice etc

I've put the date of my period ending (today was last main day, having started Thursday) into Samsung health, apparently my fertile window is 22nd to 27th march, this seems really late??

I was on Femodene which was 3 weeks on then 1 off.

Just ordered fertility suitable lube, didn't realise there was such a thing 😬

I'm really worried how I'm going to cope with the huge restrictions on what medication you can take if lucky enough to get pregnant - I get really bad headaches, which paracetamol rarely touches. My over the counter tablets are my lifeline but they'll be out the window...

Try take things one thing at a time. I’d encourage trying to dtd as often as you can and not to put any pressure on yourself or your partner. Keep it fun and if possible stress free!

Apps are great for tracking your period but sometimes are not as reliable for providing correct ovulation dates. They work on an algorithm of the standard woman so it can predict the wrong date. I’ve found that I ovulate different times each cycle and rarely on the date provided by apps.

If you feel after a little while of trying to use ovulation kits then remember again to not stress yourself out too much with it all as it kills the romance really. I used tos tress myself out making sure I was having sex at the right time and it made everything harder really.

I know you’re worrying about medication etc but I’d hold off until you get your positive result then you can speak to a gp or midwife about what will work for you.

Good luck, hope you get your bfp soon!

Hey, I'm in a bit of a sticky situation. I had my first pregnancy which ended in a chemical. It started on 20th september 23 with spotting, ended on 22nd.. followed by a negative test on 23rd. My cycle is usually 27/28days and I conceived (ended in chemical) on either CD9-CD14 according to the days I've had sex that last cycle. I haven't had a period inbetween but I found out I'm pregnant again on the 6th of November.. at my dating scan in January they dated me at 16 weeks 3days which dates back to the first day of the chemical bleed.. when did I ovulate. I'm trying to work out conception dates but as there wasn't a period inbetween it's hard to figure out. I believe maybe my cycle returned to normal and I ovulated as normal? Not too sure, any advice would be appreciated x

I really wouldn't get too hung up on dates, lube etc this early on. It'll likely take your body time to settle after the pill. Just have regular sex and enjoy it!
