Can anyone advise me re line progression? I’m now 5 weeks pregnant/22 dpo? Easy at home tests look very static and first response today is lighter? Should I be worried, all generally done with FMU. Otherwise I feel well

Have you tried the weeks indicator tests. They have always been very accurate for me.

Smcg · 15/02/2024 11:16

Thanks. Are those the clear blue ones? I’ll get them and try?

You really need to stop testing - the tests are telling you that you're definitely pregnant and they aren't designed to do any more than that. Continuing to test at this point isn't going to do you any good.

@CluelessInLondon thanks for your reply! I lose all sense of logic in these situations

@Smcg It is hard to keep perspective and step away from the tests! But those tests are definitely positive and you are definitely pregnant right now unless you have symptoms that suggest otherwise. Maybe think about booking an early scan instead of continuing to test? After 6 weeks is when you can start to see something useful on a transvaginal scan.

Unfortunately this did end in miscarriage at 5+4 and I’ve had another 3 early miscarriages since. I’m waiting for more tests with gynaecologist

I’m so sorry to hear that, I think I’m going through my second chemical at the moment. I hope that gynae have been proactive and you are getting some answers? What tests are they looking at, is this under the recurrent miscarriage clinic? Xx

I’m sorry to hear that you are going through the same thing, it’s so tough!! Hope you’ve got good support
saw a consultant privately as the nhs wait was so long. I’ve had bloods done and one of them was slightly raised for antiphospholipid syndrome so I need to get that repeated. And he’s also arranging to do a hysteroscopy in January and going to put me on hydroxychloroquine after that to try dapper down my immune response in case that’s an issue. So he’s told be to take a 6 month break from ttc while all that happens.
it does seem common so hopefully next time it’ll work out for you but may be worth getting some bloods done at this stage?
