Hi and thanks for clicking.
I'll start with acknowledging that I am likely about to suffer my second chemical in two months. I'm not in denial about it, but I have had a strange occurrence with tests.
My first two tests (cheapie Wondfo strips), I did in the morning over the weekend at 11DPO. I hadn't tested before that. They were extremely faint, but I could definitely see them. I took more later in the day on Saturday (about six in total and tested two with water to check the batch for indents). They were more visible on the later tests, but still light a by that point.
On Sunday, I tested in the morning with the strips again and they were still extremely faint, though visible. I did a Clearblue rapid in the evening after Amazon delivered it and a very visible but weak blue line appeared within a minute.
Yesterday, I tested in the morning with strips and the tests were ever so slightly darker at 13DPO than 11DPO, but still faint for 13DPO. I also tested with the other Clearblue rapid and it took 2 minutes for an extremely faint line to show up, much fainter than the one from the previous evening. I don't know why, but I also did another strip yesterday evening and the line was again faint, but noticeably darker than all the others.
Today is 14DPO. AF hasn't arrived yet, but my strips are once again not as dark as they should be for 14DPO. I'm currently in the midst of a hold to see if they darken again this afternoon, and I'll do another in the evening just to appease my anxiety. I'd rather know what to prepare for.
Again, I'm not clutching at straws about the likelihood of a chemical, I'm aware I'm not progressing like I should, but everything I can find says FMU is best and should show up strongest. I've put some pictures below. First picture is 11DPO morning and 13DPO evening side by side. Second picture is today's (14DPO) with FMU.
So, anyone else seen darker tests later in the day? Anyone else had slow progression like this and not had a chemical? I know I ovulated 14 days ago exactly, so I can't say the calculations are wrong and there's much hope, but I'm interested anyway. Many thanks!
