Hi, I'm about to start my tenth month of trying for my first baby (healthy 30 year old couple). For this month number nine I had blood tests done with my gynecologist and she explained to me over the phone that it would seem that I ovulate too late and that I would probably need to be supplemented with progesterone but that she would explain it all to me in a face-to-face consultation. Have you succeeded in having a child with this kind of problem?
I need some hope ..
Thank you

Progesterone is an easy fix

Hi OP, I have a short luteal phase (9-10 days) and I have successfully conceived 3 times (one living child), but also in my 12th cycle TTC at the moment with no luck so it is possible, just can take longer!

Have you been supplemented with progesterone? :)

My luteal phase is 8-9 days long but it hasn’t stopped me from conceiving twice in a short period of time so try not to worry. I’m currently 14+5 following a MMC in August. The first pregnancy was unplanned from dtd once that month. The cycle that I fell pregnant with my current pregnancy I started taking high strength vit c and b6 as these are meant to help keep progesterone high and lengthen LP. Good luck! X

My luteal phase was 6-8 days and I have 2 children. One conceived after 10 months of trying and one 2 years later by surprise! No progesterone supplements.

Yup I had a 9-10 day luteal phase and conceived twice in 4 months, first month trying I had a chemical pregnancy and the 4th month twin boys… who are 4 months old now and snoozing next to me :)

I had a short luteal phase (ovulation at day 9/10) which resulted in a mc.
I then undertook fertility acupuncture and started taking supercomplex vitamin B. Luteal phase lengthened to 14 days.

I now have two children.
Good luck OP x

My luteal phase was 9 - 10 days and I often started spotting after as little as 5 days. I conceived after about 4 months with no progesterone!

Daily zinc 10 or 15 mg
Also helps

Both me and my best friend had this issue and were supplemented with progesterone - both currently pregnant with baby no 1.
