How to best track ovulation with PCOS and very irregular cycles??

@Rach151 I think LH tests are your best bet. You can buy cheap strips online or from high street retailers. A strong positive test will help determine if you're likely to ovulate in the next day or so, and also help you approximate how many days it has been since your conception attempt(s).

@Rach151 fellow pcos’er here! I’ve done a ton of research on this, and basically because we can have an imbalanced LH:FSH ratio, ovulation testing strips can be inaccurate because LH can be high as a result of pcos rather than ovulation/impending ovulation.
So, very much recommend tracking bbt, as you’ll see the temperature surge after ovulation. BUT that doesn’t help us with DTD before ovulation to catch the egg. So I also track cervical fluid (but again, can be unreliable as with pcos we can cycle through egg white cervical mucous as our body keeps trying to ovulate). All in all we DTD every other day from period ending (and especially on any ewcm days) and I temp, and when I finally get the temp increase I at least know I’ve ovulated that month and can chill on the DTD front until my period 😅

Thank you that's brilliant advise! I will have to start tracking bbt and charting it. Would be good to tell if ovulation has occurred as cm is just on off throughout the month. Do you just use a regular thermometer? What app do you use to chart it please? Thank you 😊

@Rach151 definitely! You need a thermometer that goes to 2 decimal places, I use natural cycles and use their thermometer :)
