@riverlodge90 when is the sperm test booked for? Let us know how he gets on, I'm sure everything will be fine.

Exactly, just have to look forward to the appointment now and see what the doctor suggests, hopefully it's not a wasted trip though I just don't know what they'll suggest if we've both come back with normal results. Maybe they'll do another blood test on me, my OH sperm test was only at the end of November so can't imagine they'll get him to do another one but who knows.

Trying anything new... giving up? 😂😂 I think il stop tracking everything and literally just dtd when we fancy it and not when it's pressured and feel like you have to cause it's FW. I ovulate same time every month so I have a good idea when it'll be anyway.

I hope so 🤞🏼

Angelselevenx · 30/01/2024 08:51

@riverlodge90 oh actually, I'm changing my supplements from the wild nutrition ones to the pregnacare conception max tablets. What are you taking at the moment?

Yes this is my year I'm feeling it 🥰 this will be it!! Even better I'm hoping it's this month 😆

moosey89 · 30/01/2024 13:19

@riverlodge90 I think I've tried every trick in the book over the years - the only thing that was the same both times I got pregnant was that i had spent the few months before focusing on my health and fitness, so I'm currently doing that! Losing a bit of weight and exercising well. Good thing is that even if that doesn't help getting pregnant it is never wasted time as it's good for you overall 😊

I'm giving it until July then we will have a serious talk about how long we want to continue trying for I think. You have to have not been trying for 6 months to start the adoption process so we will need to make a call at one stage or another x

riverlodge90 · 30/01/2024 19:03

@Angelselevenx

Test is on the 9th so will report back on that!

I'm currently taking a few, I've been through several ones over the past year. (Including pregnecare which messed my cycle up so beware of that)
Currently taking women's active iron plus their multivitamin, iodine (seakelp), coq10, omega 3 and DHEA as I have low testosterone.

Good for you for taking a break! Sometimes that really helps mentally. I did that in December and just logged out of it all for a while but still didn't get pregnant and felt more upset as I'd tried to beat the system🤣 did have a nice month of wine and good cheese though haha.
Hopefully the month off works for you and you can have a lovely "surprise but not surprise" BFP🤣

@moosey89
Totally agree it's draining! It's month 10 officially for us now but month 16 of no contraception. So yeh getting bloody sick of it to put it nicely.

I defo think it keep trying to find something new to try as I think there HAS to be something im missing, even though I know thats just me trying to control the outcome, which I can't. It's a lose lose situation!

Interesting that you've said that about adoption, what's the reason for the six months go you know?

moosey89 · 30/01/2024 20:43

@riverlodge90 so exhausting!! A friend down the road from us has sadly had 2 miscarriages but is pregnant again so has managed to get pregnant 3 times in the time we've been trying since my most recent loss. It makes me want to cry how some people can get pregnant easily (whilst at the same time praying that this baby sticks for her!).

Angelselevenx · 31/01/2024 07:31

Af is here.... cycle 13 we go 😩☹️

@riverlodge90 ooh yes please do keep us updated!

I have seen that they mess up cycles, maybe I'll take them back and stick to my wild nutrition ones as they haven't affected me at all. How did they mess up your cycle out of interest?

I know 😂 I did it in another month last year then was pissed off cause I was like, I thought people fell pregnant when they forgot about it but how can you really forget about it for a whole month!? I'm just glad we have the fertility appt soon so I can either get some answers or some bloody meds to help us out haha

riverlodge90 · 31/01/2024 12:05

@Angelselevenx Awh no fingers crossed you get some answers soon. It's the unknown that's so stressful.

They made me ovulate 6 days later and I got over a week of highs on the clear blue. It's never happened before, that was in May. I tried the boots version in October, same thing happened. I think it's the Inositol, which they both contain. If I had short cycles I wouldn't mind but I'm bang on 29/30 so want to keep them that way. I wouldn't take them again. I really rate these; amzn.eu/d/8Q2eM2U
Can be used in pregnancy too as don't contain vitamin A and importantly haven't messed up my cycle at all!

Haha that's exactly it, even the month "off" I still thought about it every single day, I just drank more and ate more crap tbh haha. I have no idea how people have completely cut it out mentally, like how?!🤣

@moosey89 Awh I really feel for you! Pregnancy announcements are so hard, I guess they're hard in different ways. Yes she's had the joy for a few weeks but then it's been taken away. There is no winner until we have a live born baby I guess!

Angelselevenx · 31/01/2024 13:22

@riverlodge90 hope so! Although my cycles are regular, I ovulate cd18-20 and have a 29-31 day cycle so I don't know what they can suggest, I'm hoping they do more bloods to check my levels and then maybe help with progesterone to lengthen my luteal phase as that's 10-11 days which is on the shorter side

That's good to know thank you, how frustrating that must've been! I already ovulate later I want to bring that forward if I can. Was it the conception max that you used? I really like the wild nutrition ones at the moment but they're £30 a month.

I'd love to know honestly, although I'm going to do it this month 😂

moosey89 · 31/01/2024 13:30

@riverlodge90 oh don't get me wrong, losses are shit, I've had 2 of those too, but being able to actually get pregnant again quickly is better than not being able to get pregnant again quickly if that makes sense. She's anxious as hell (understandably) and I really hope this little one makes it for her. But it's similarly hard being onto month 7 of trying since my most recent loss and nada. 2.5 years for the first pregnancy, 6 months for the second and now 7 months since I lost that one. I'm just emotionally exhausted.

@MrBigsCat did you test anymore? X

riverlodge90 · 05/02/2024 14:38

@MrBigsCat Any update on the tests?

@Angelselevenx @moosey89

How you both doing?

I had a bad weekend last week mentally really starting to struggle so had to shut off from everything. How to keep hope alive when it's constantly battered down is hard!

Angelselevenx · 05/02/2024 14:42

@riverlodge90 I'm okay thanks, how're you doing now? Sorry you're having a rough time, it's really hard isn't it. I fine the week of AF I'm okay and then it's the following two/three weeks it really bothers me although I just cannot believe we're on cycle 13 now.

I have our fertility appointment in two weeks which I'm hoping is a positive step forward. Where are you in your cycle now?

Angelselevenx · 05/02/2024 14:44

@riverlodge90 I can't remember if you said, what was your day 21 result for progesterone?

moosey89 · 05/02/2024 16:18

@riverlodge90 I'm doing ok - got to the point where I can't even imagine being pregnant anymore, so it feels a bit wierd to be trying every month (not even sure if that makes any sense 🙈). I've been prescribed 5mg folic acid, not that that helps unless I can actually get pregnant again but nice to feel like something else is there to help.

March is an insane month for me (3 work trips of 4+ days) so I'm thinking of trying hard this month then next month just take fertile week estimate from my Flo app as I'm not sure I'll even be able to do ovulation tests reliably so better to not even worry about it I think....

ElleBelleLou · 05/02/2024 20:18

My DP has started a new job which requires him to work away a lot - better money and better opportunities but I can't help but have a little sulk that this will likely interfere with TTC, and then if I am lucky enough to fall pregnant, after two miscarriages I know I'll be nervous and potentially on my own for a lot of it!

We've only managed to DTD once today which is ovulation day, so fingers crossed but I'm not sure it's enough.

Angelselevenx · 08/02/2024 11:51

How's everyone doing?

CD9 here, normally O CD20 and I have a very high LH strip but no bbt dip so not sure what's going on. Pregnacare tablets hopefully going to bring O forward slightly but not this far!

Teela86 · 08/02/2024 15:37

7dpo here, no symptoms so I'm just staring at my bbt chart for a revelation! Hope everyone is ok x

hopingforapeainapod · 08/02/2024 17:16

Hey team - I’m CD21, either 5 or 6dpo. I had a monitored cycle this month so had various scans last week and then a HCG trigger shot on Thursday evening (so a week ago) and then have been on progesterone since Sunday 🤞 really hoping this does the trick but don’t want to get my hopes up too much as I’ve had a stinking cold all week and so am hardly fighting fit! Am also absolutely knackered but don’t know if that’s the illness or progesterone or both…

NSCat · 11/02/2024 11:21

@Angelselevenx

Hello!! I'm in the exact same boat...started taking vitamin d and Pregnacare this month, normally ovulate Cd19...peak LH CD 10 😳. Currently CD12 and did have a dip followed by rise in BBT. Never happened before, maybe it is the vitamins? 😂. Have you had any change?

Angelselevenx · 11/02/2024 11:33

@NSCat oh god not just me then! Well it dropped back down yesterday and it's shot back up today! No idea what's going on, I don't know if it's cause I test LH on my second wee which is after I've taken the tablets? Do you test after you've taken the tabs? I'm on CD12 and it's back up again today 😩

NSCat · 11/02/2024 11:56

@Angelselevenx oooh...no I test before I take mine! So yours is a bit up and down then? Could it be you're getting ready to ovulate? I'm going to continue to test LH just incase it's not an actual ovulation and just a practice 😆. Ahh why is this so hard? 🤪🤪
