Anyone else currently in the TWW? I'm 2dpo today and really hoping this is the month. After a miscarriage last Christmas and an ectopic in august I think I really need this 😭 told myself this is the last month I'm going to try for a while 19th months of doing OPK's and tracking BBT is getting too much now.

Do you think testing on Xmas day at 8dpo is too early? 🤣

@paigeeemicj I'm 1dpo so with you 🤣 had an MMC in July, this is cycle 5 since (that one took 6 months to conceive), but first time I TTC with my ex was 8 years ago so I've been thinking about being a mum for a while with more than one loss! Let's keep everything crossed this is our month. I'm due af on new year's Day so will test new year's eve if my period doesn't arrive a bit early as I want to let loose haha

@moosey89 I'm sorry that happened for you 😭 I'm due AF New Year's Day too! Though I'm designated driver on Xmas day (fiancé's birthday) and New Year's Eve ( he drove last year 🤣 ) so no drinks for me anyway! I have a really nervous feeling this month I usually wait til the day AF is due to test but I don't think I'm gonna be able to do that this time 🤣

Seems like we're all pretty close in dates. I'm 1-2 DPO. I didn't track it so only going by date of last period and estimated date of ovulation. I think I'm going to test on the 26th because I'm VERY impatient. AF due on 31st. Sending prayers to us all!

@paigeeemicj thank you! We're hosting for new year and I have a lot of lovely gins to work through if it's a bfn 😅 I hope your nervous feeling ends up being a good type of nervous that ends 2023 with good news!

@coffeeandcake91 hope it's your month! Have you been TTC long? It's a funny time of year for it, trying to enjoy all the festivities but knowing that I'll either be really happy or sad for new years x

Hi ladies, I'd love to join us as like @paigeeemicj says I don't think i've ever been at the start of a thread where everyone is so close ovulation wise! I'm roughly 2-3DPO, like you @coffeeandcake91 I didn't track so just going by 2 apps and my cycle. 🤞🏼

Unfortunately my journey so far has been long and very sad. I first fell pregnant last summer but we lost our daughter at 25 weeks this time last year, she was absolutely beautiful but sadly she was very poorly 🤍 After a few months of physical and mental recovery we decided to try again and since June and September I've sadly had two early miscarriages. I've since had blood tests that have come back normal so as of last month we decided to try again whilst we wait for our consultant appointment. It all feels a lot sometimes.

Sorry I appreciate you probably weren't expecting all of that! Is it your first you're trying for?

@Vic231 I'm so sorry for your loss that must've been awful for you, I couldn't imagine going through something like that I thought my ectopic was bad enough 😭

Yes we are trying for our first, I'm 23 so I keep hearing people tell me "you're so young you've got so much time" but it's so tedious to hear when I've been trying since last June 😭. Doctors are useless too they won't refer me for more tests yet even though I've been pushing for it. Since I have already been diagnosed with PCOS and Endometriosis ( I was diagnosed at 16 with both after a pretty traumatic hospital experience ) they want me to just keep trying and they're only going to follow up if I have another miscarriage or ectopic. Just so stressful. I'm going to Japan in early February so me and my partner decided this month will be the last we track it until after we come back.

@paigeeemicj thank you lovely ♥️ I think that sometimes people don't know what to say, which ive definitely experienced, but when it's something you really want and its not happening or when it does happen it goes wrong, it doesn't matter how young or old you are, it is devastating. You aren't just grieving the loss itself but the future you imagined as soon as you got that BFP.

Your trip to Japan sounds amazing and I think that's a really good idea. What a lovely thing to have to look forward to!l whatever the outcome this month!

@Vic231 yeah it can be difficult I know people are just trying to be positive for me but they don't understand which I mean I don't blame them because they haven't been through it so how could they understand. It's one of the reasons I'm so grateful for the Mumsnet community I feel like I can be open and honest here with no judgment 💕

Yes we have wanted to go on this trip for over 6 years now, we had it booked in 2021 but got cancelled because of the virus 😭 it's been a difficult year with TTC and also other family issues but either way if this month results in a BFP or not I'm excited for my trip ✨

I'm 2 DPO. My first time TTC. No idea what to expect or what to look out for. I already am dying to test 🤣

I want to test the 25th because how cute would that be but I think I'm gonna hold out til the 30th. I'm just desperate to know! And you're right this month is really dragging I feel like I should be 10po already 🤣 I keep looking at my Flo app like it's suppose to change anything lol

Currently on month 5 ttc 37 years old...5dpo and due 29th/30th of dec I think I'll test Xmas eve lol and so on...

Hello ! New here currently TTC no.1. It's our first proper month of trying instead of just seeing what happens. Due AF the end of the month( 30th ) hoping to get a positive this time. Hate the TWW 😅

@paigeeemicj Trying to be positive. Had a few cramps which i don't normally get unless I'm on and thats still a week away. Trying not to symptom spot tho. Hoping for the best 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Don't give up! It's possible that implantation hasn't even happened yet! It could still be your month 💕 even if it isn't this month don't give up it will happen!
