Two instances of positive ovulation tests

Hi,

So this cycle I finished my periods on 4th December. I had a positive ovulation test on 8th December. I felt really off the last few days so I decided to do another ovulation test yesterday & it was clearly positive. I did one test on Monday (I had quite a bit of discharge) and that line was dark but not as dark as yesterday.
Here is a photo of today's ovulation test.

Has anyone else ever had this? I read online that usually the first instance of positive ovulation test is probably the body gearing up to ovulate but failing which is why some people have another positive test later?

You will get a positive test for a number of days within your cycle. It's when you get a strong positive - that will be an indication ovulation will take place in the next 24-36hrs. Good luck

Yes I had the strong positive already last week on Friday and then gradually the line became faint over the weekend. But from Monday it became a strong positive again. And it's now become fainter slowly.

Unless that line is much darker in real life than in the photo, that's not a positive ovulation test - it's only positive if the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line, which the line in your picture isn't. But if you think you may not have ovulated yet then keep testing to see what happens.

I know that is not a positive in the photo. The day before it was a positive where the two lines were equally dark. I also had the same equally dark lines last week.

The Premom app is really good for tracking ovulation. It also has lots of information on there.

I remember reading one about some women have a very rapid surge and decline of the hormone, and some have peaks and troughs over the course of a few days.
