Clear Hycosy - next steps?

Hi all - had a Hycosy last week and everything came back clear. Doctor has just told us to keep trying until we feel ready for IVF. I don’t feel ready for this, and wondering whether to push for Letrozole or IUI. A bit about me:

  • both me and DH are 30 and healthy BMI
  • been ttc for a year - never had a bfp
  • semen analysis normal, although on the low side (43% motility)
  • regular periods (28-33 days) and LH / BBT shows I’m ovulating
  • day 21 progesterone normal, although slightly on the low side (25.3)
  • all other bloods normal, ultrasound normal, lining and AMH good, polycystic ovaries but don’t qualify for PCOS

I know a year isn’t that long in the grand scheme of things and maybe I just need to be patient but I’m just so frustrated that everything looks ‘good’ on paper and it’s just not working for us. Feel like I’ve tried everything - preseed, acupuncture, SMEP - and I’m just convincing myself now that it’s just not going to happen naturally.

Hey - old post i know but how are things ?

You want your progsterone recorded @ over 30..

Day 21 is just called day 21 - based on a 28 dau cycle with ovulation day 14..

If your cycles are longer - you want to test a 5 - 7 days after ovulation

Last cycle i ovulated day 17 / 18 ...

Progsterone was 30.600 day 25

@worldwidetravel2017 so I had a few more tests done eg sperm dna fragmentation and all came back normal. I then found another doctor who specialises in unexplained infertility and we did a monitored cycle with a hcg injection to trigger ovulation and then I took progesterone from 1DPO and boom, got my first ever bfp! I’m now 10.5 weeks pregnant. Convinced basically my progesterone was a bit low or was dropping too early and so cyclogest seems to have done the trick!
