Is anyone able to offer insight?
could I be getting Lh surges after ovulating or am I about to actually ovulate now?

My personal opinion is that BBT is a very flawed metric in comparison to LH tests.

But these are prediction tests, to give an indication not a definitive timeline of when you ovulated. So long as you DTD every other day in your fertile window you've done the most important bit.

My confusion is that my clue app said fertile window was cd 12-16. So technically by that I’m out of the window. But if opks are right and I’m about to ovulate then I’m in my firtile window now. This is my first cycle since getting implanon removed so I don’t know how confused my body might be. I have always had pretty reliable 28-29 day cycles, before and after my previous 2 pregnancies and also the entire time I had the implanon

You should see a clear decline of temperatures after ovulation, several falls then staying low. I'd think probably not happened yet. Sometimes the body gets ready to ovulate and it doesn't happen. Birth control can certainly disrupt cycles, so can things like stress, weight gain or loss, fevers and illness when they occur right when you should be ovulating. Having a low grade fever or gaining weight would often delay me over a week. I found temping very accurate when done correctly, but for me that meant temping vaginally, my oral temperatures were way to variable to tell. LH surge just tells you your body is getting ready to ovulate. Seeing a sustained fall of BBT post LH surge is a good indicator you have ovulated, but none of those methods are 100% accurate.

@EliflurtleAndTheInfiniteMadness BBT should increase after ovulation, not decrease, no?

@EliflurtleAndTheInfiniteMadness BBT should definitely increase after ovulation, not fall! You are right though that lots of factors can delay ovulation and your body can gear up to it more than once, but you are definitely looking for a sustained rise in temperature OP!
