Hi we’ve been TTC for 3 months.
My son is 4 and I had severe HG so we’ve waited til now as we are very nervous about me being so unwell.
I had a bad headache yesterday 8dpo I think and today at 9dpo felt very nauseous and took a test first thing. This is the line that I got on clear blue and then on a later test, the digital one, it says not pregnant? When I read the non digital test an hour later there was a definite line.
with my son we got pregnant first time of trying, had a clear metallic taste with spotting but nothing like this yet so I’m a bit confused. I have adenomyosis now too.
Thanks for any help!

That looks like a Evap line try a pink dye test

The digitals rarely give a positive result early and the clear blue non digitals are known for evap lines that look like positive lines. Do a first response, the pink dye is more reliable.

I hope it’s not, but that looks like an evap. I had very similar last night on a clearblue and definitely an evap as everything is negative today.

Fingers crossed it’s just too early for you though 🤞🏻

Ah that is similar I’m sorry- Thank you. It’s stressful as I need to start medication straight away for the HG, I’ve just cancelled an order of clear blue ones and I’ll get some others later.
thanks for the tips fingers crossed!

9DPO is not only too early to test, it's often too early to provoke symptoms as hcg levels aren't high enough by that point.

Often the symptoms people associate with early pregnancy are actually high levels of progesterone- which can occur before period.

Best thing to do is hold off a few more days, and test with first pee for a more accurate reading.
