11 DPO. I actually had a wee before thinking about testing so this isnt fmu ahhhhh. I just want someone to confirm that I’m being a psycho and this is definitely negative. I am just making up with my eyes that I can see something.

You need early detection one that is more sensitive. And also there is a very faint line in that one you did.

Daniki · 21/11/2023 08:43

Just want to say--the clearblue blue dye tests are absolutely shite, I have seen hundreds of posts with people stressing over them. Don't bother with a digital until a few days after af due. The boots early response are great, but also want to say, every pic you have uploaded has had a clear not faint line 😁

Im due today/tomorrow. So shouldn’t need an early detection?

Standard tests say they detect a positive from the day of your missed period. HCG doubles every 48(ish) hours so would potentially show a faint positive in two days. Also, you may have ovulated later than you thought so your period isn’t actually due when you think it is.

sukibelly · 21/11/2023 11:45

I'd go grab a frer

letitgoh · 21/11/2023 12:54

CB ultra early digital are really good, same sensitivity as the early detection ones but gives the result in words. I can see a line on all of those tests. Best of luck OP!

SlinkMcSlink · 21/11/2023 17:09

Stepping away from all pregnancy tests until the weekend as I’m well aware that I look like a crazy lady! I hope that you’re all correct. I know exactly when I ovulated because I had a smear on Tuesday 7th November and told the the nurse I was ttc and she said I was ovulating which was a good sign. I also did the ovulation sticks too.

I do feel a bit pregnant as in sore boobs but that could be hormones in general. I can’t wee on any more sticks today and just need to wait………easier said than done. The amount of money the pregnancy test industry must make with crazy ladies like me!!

I would get hold of a digital early detection test. Mine showed as pregnant at 9dpo. The line on the clearblue non digital was practically non existent even the day my period was due. I wish they wouldn’t sell those tests there are hundreds of threads on here about them!

princefamilypaper · 21/11/2023 17:43

I find those CB ones absolutely useless. I got a positive on a first response and a negative on a CB and now have a 2 year old.

Get a digital. I can deff see a clear line on the others x

Birdsongsinging · 21/11/2023 18:25

I see a faint line on that clear blue one as well. You need a digital one! And you don’t look crazy - just keen!

uncomfortablydumb53 · 21/11/2023 18:55

I have seen a line on each test!

Duckling89 · 21/11/2023 19:16

Pregnancy tests turn us all crazy OP 😂 I thought I would pee on the stick then get a big fat line and be sobbing to DH. The reality was a lot of squinting at the faintest smidge on a test, DH was sure I was imagining it and we were then standing in Morrisons that evening debating whether to splash out £15 on a digital test 😀 I ended up doing it at 4am because I couldn’t sleep and having to shake DH awake with the news, I think he fell back asleep and I retold him a few hours later

SlinkMcSlink · 23/11/2023 16:40

Little update- AF appeared.

I was really unwell yesterday. Literally my whole body was aching. Never felt aches like it. Felt very restless and the sore boobs turned into a sore lower back. Not felt great today either but then it arrived and I kind of expected it. Back to square one.

I’m glad I documented this though because I feel like I was pregnant at the beginning of the week. It was there on a test! It just hasn’t progressed.

I’m so sorry OP, it sounds like a pregnancy that didn’t stick. Please take it easy and take care of yourself Flowers

SlinkMcSlink · 23/11/2023 17:26

Thanks @RudolfsLeftToe . I’ve only just realised that this has happened to me around 3-4 times this year. The only thing now is that I have proof that it’s happening. Starting to wander if I’m having chemical pregnancies?! I hope to hear back from the hospital in the new year so it’s something to mention I guess. Just not sticking. I only realised because my cycles are 29 days and there’s been three months of 33 days this year and each time my I remember saying to my husband that I felt that I had flu. I only recall because the first was January shortly after new year so I was well rested. The second was around Easter and again I was well rested. Then last month it was 33 days but I just figured because we had Ofsted in the first half term in work so I was really stressed. Now it’s happened again.

Best wishes OP. Sorry it’s not remained positive. Definitely mention when you have appointments in the New Year. It’s information to go on. Best wishes again xx

I'm very sorry. I do hope you get answers soon

KilledAnotherPlant · 23/11/2023 18:24

I’m so sorry I know it’s really sad but also frustrating because you know it’s another 4 week wait. I had 3 or four chemicals this year and a couple were back to back. Like no problem getting pregnant and clear positives but they ended so early my period was only a couple of days late. Currently 9 weeks and fingers crossed. Now we’re older probably I’m 39 and partner 45 but I was off my thyroxine thinking it wouldn’t make a difference. I’m only on 50mg for an under active thyroid but I started taking it after the last one and then a few weeks later this one stuck (it does take a few weeks to build up in your system) it’s only my two pence but if you haven’t been checked I’d recommend it just in case. Then again chemical pregnancies are common and early testing just catches them so I also promised myself
I wouldn’t test again until I was a week late. Wishing you luck for next cycle, take care x x

SlinkMcSlink · 23/11/2023 19:10

@KilledAnotherPlant Congrats on your pregnancy and thanks for the advice. That’s how I felt when everyone was saying I was definitely pregnant because it didn’t feel ‘right’ to me if that makes sense? Like you know when you just know that something is off. It’s a pattern I’ve started to notice. It’s probably why I kept saying that I’d test again this weekend. I’m going to hope that it sticks in December. If not then get on my with hospital appointments.
